I did not use any groupon vouchers, hence this was probably why it was easy to get seated. The food was paid at full price.
Anyway, I have always wanted to try this place for the famous melt in your mouth noodles (maai toi muk).

I ordered those noodles along with fried tofu with sauce (chinese description five tastes), fried prawn rolls and the seaweed soup.
I wanted to order another bowl of "new bamboo vermicelli" (sun jook mai fun) as seen on other reviews but when I asked for it the waitress didnt know what the sun jook mai fun was!
She couldn't even find it on the menu! But I found that really pathetic especially for the noodles they should ask you which type of noodles you want!.
With staff that have no knowledge on their food, it just turns revenue away.
But anyway that noodle was available, because a table nearby changed their noodles to the sun jook and that waiter understood.
Their current menu on Openrice is not up to date at all, I wanted to order the 腐乳炆腐皮 but that had been discontinued~
I was so looking forward to that especially fermented tofu and tofu together!

Maai toi muk:
These were fat translucent noodles in soup, similar to pin noodles but softer.
They are like rice thread noodles fried when they are uncooked and then boiled.
The taste of rice in the noodles was not apparent like the others have mentioned.
The texture of the noodles were slightly foamy just like E-fu noodles.

Fried Tofu:
These were tasteless, the sauce that came with it, was meant to be ginger, but it actually tasted like washing up liquid.

Prawn rolls:
These probably tasted the most normal out of all that I ordered, however it was fatty with pork fat.
I could not find any glass vermicelli as shown on other reviews.

Seaweed soup:
This was the most disappointing, the real dish and the product picture looked so different.
The soup in the product picture looked thicker. There was no miso taste at all, or maybe it could be a translation error.
The chinese name was seaweed soup, and the english name was miso soup.
But then the product picture looks like miso soup~!

Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes, because this shop is a subsidiary of AY-TU flour rice noodles and Taro Store (seenwuting) so it cant be that bad.

However if there is a next time, I really want to try the 蔭豉蚵, which is meant to be oysters, fermented black beans and tofu, satay mutton, squid cooked with thai basil and red rice yeast and preserved beancurd sauce with chicken.

In conclusion, I found the menu very confusing, the English on the menu was weird!
