OBC Grill is run by Sodexo a major catering player in Hong Kong.
I was lured here because they had a good range of burgers and the Mexican black bean salad.

When I got there, the Mex salad was not served anymore so I was choosing between the chicken burger and the Quesadilla.
They also had the Beyond Burger for HKD48 which is the cheapest in Hong Kong.
Normally I would get the BB but I have tried it so many times at other restaurants.
Prices for the BB should decrease in the future due to demand and availability and possible competition from other new vegan burger brands.


Anyway, ended up getting the fried chicken burger which was disappointing as it was dry and woody.
It was dark brown so possibly refried.

The Quesadilla would have been a better choice.

Happy Cow has been serving vegan ice creams for at least six years.I was lucky I got to visit their ice cream factory in 2013.

Happy Cow is a brand of dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, low glycemic vegan and most importantly Kosher icecream.
The main ingredients include guar gum a natrual thickener, coconut sugar (brown) which gives their ice-creams a brown colour.
All their flavours have an extremely coconutty taste attributed to coconut milk and coconut sugar, and the texture is thick and creamier to other ice creams.

Happy Cow has a cute cafe at HKU which unfortunately is going to close down soon.
That day I got my favourite cherry fudge which is sweet and satisfying with chunks of fudge and cherries.
The texture was thick and gooey.
Also got the mint and chocolate which is always soothing.
The chocolate chips in it are delicious.
The scoops are probably better as the texture is not as frozen as the ones in the cabinet.

Went here for lunch, it was nice and spacious as expected.
There were so many things to choose from so went for the chili fish instead of the chicken because the chicken probably has bones being Chinese style.

It was super spicy but I liked how they prepared the dish by boiling the vegetables, fish and then pouring the chili broth into the final bowl.
The only thing that it lacked was Sichuan spices because it was just spicy and nothing else.
Overall, quite satisfied because it wasn't expensive.

Needed a drink so went here for tea.
Normally I order the Earl Grey but went for Jasmine tea for a change.
They gave me the wrong tea to begin with so I got it changed, it was horrible and minty.
The Jasmine tea was ok but the table was really wobbly that it made my tea spill!
