The new drink at Starbucks sounds interesting, it is hot apple juice rather than coffee, tea or milk as a base.

I wasnt quite sure what to expect, but the taste of cooked apples turn very sour.

From the product shot, I really liked the golden clear liquid topped with cream, however when I got mine, it was in a paper cup, and its best features couldn't be seen by others, it just looked like I was holding a normal coffee or some hot drink from Starbucks.

According to the US website for Starbucks, this drink is classified as a kids drink.

The Caramel apple spice winter drink is basically steamed, freshly pressed apple juice and cinnamon syrup, topped with sweetened whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
In the US, they also do a plain version (steamed apple juice without the cream).

I took my first sip, and it was better than expected, it wasn't the type of apple juice that you would get from a carton, it was like McDonalds apple pie filling in liquid form, it was slightly sour, but the sourness was not that eye squinting sourness of carton apple juice.

The spices in the drink made it pleasant, the whipped cream made the drink even more dreamy.
I would have loved more cream and caramel, it was like drinking apple pie.
If the cream was ice-cream, it would be like drinking apple pie and ice-cream.
But the whipped cream and caramel tasted perfect with the steamed apple juice.

A fun wintery snack that I got from MOS burger for $39.9.

Usually, they are chocolate covered strawberries, but these are frozen strawberries that are filled with creamy white chocolate.

The whole packaging is very pretty, from the clear crystal shaped box to the crispy clear bag, both imported from Japan, and each strawberry is individually wrapped with a gold twist tie.

When I got box of strawberries, it contained an ice pack to keep the strawberries cold, I asked if they were to be eaten straight away or defrosted, and the guy said they are supposed to be eaten straight away.

Anyway, undid the cute gold twist ties and popped one of the strawberries in my mouth, and my mouth was numbed by the coldness of the strawberry. It was rock hard too@!

Slowly I could taste the strawberry and the sweet creamy filling.

Although it is recommended to eat them straight away, I let them thaw for a while and ate it to compare the taste.

It tasted much better slightly thawed, the texture of the strawberry was slightly slushy with the ice cold filling oozing out, and as it wasn't so frozen you can get a more impactful taste of the strawberry tartness and sweet white chocolate creamy taste.

I am not a fan of sweet potato, so I didnt intend to try it, but in the end I gave it a try.
The taste is not as impactful as the apple pie, the sweetness of the sweet potato wasn't as sweet as I expected.
I was expecting that nasty sweet taste like those Chinese soups, but it tasted like pumpkin, so maybe they should have pumpkin pie next time for Halloween!!
Anyway, the sweet potato wasn't that mushy, and there was custard coloured sauce.
For the sake of trying new things, it is worth trying!!
