Well i got there at 2.30 to avoid the lunchtime rush, luckily they still had some set lunches left. It was a bit confusing, because i didn't realise they only had one choice for lunch, which you could choose to have either soup or drink and decide whether to have dessert of not.
Since i didn't know what the waitress was waffling on about, I just said yes, since i came all the way to try it out.
First came the seaweed and green pea soup, which was very nice with rich seaweed and bean flavour.
Next came the main course, which is exactly the same as the pictures submitted by openrice members.
It tasted really nice, with chickpeas, okra (lady fingers), herbs, and other crunchy vegetables. Not really filling, on my next visit i shall ask for extra rice, cos i didn't know u could.
After the salad came the banana cake, tasted a bit too sweet for me and the banana tasted bitter, so i think that the cake must have been a few days old, since fresh bananas are not dark and oxidised.
I was also given lemon water, which also tasted very bitter too, i think lemon is a bit off, because the lemon peel is rather thin, so it must have been in the fridge for days.
Overall everything was good, next time I will just have the soup and main course.
