Walked past and saw this neat joint for noodles, so I picked up a flyer, inside the shop it was quite small, which probably seats about 10 people.
Later I checked it out on OpenRice and found out it was a new shop that opened recently.
I was attracted to it because the joint seemed quite neat, and offers noodles in their home made recipe sauce.
It costs $27 for a bowl of noodles with three toppings and a free drink for take-outs.
I was expecting alot of sauce according to the first review, but there wasn’t much from my picture.
The picture shows the noodles after it was mixed with the sauce.
The first reviewer also commented the shiitake mushrooms were good too, so tried that.
To be honest, the toppings were disappointing, and the noodles were ok.
I mixed the noodles as instructed from the first review, but there wasn’t much, the sauce tasted strong of sesame oil.
The octopus rolls were basically the same ones as the ones you get from the snacks section at convenient stores, but they were tasteless.
The mushroom werent as nice as the first reviewer said.
The chicken gizzards also tasted off and reeked of pork, same with the soft pork bone tendons.
Infact all the topping were boiled in the same broth giving it that weird taste.
I think next time I will just order plain noodles since the sauce is ok, but hopefully the sauce will be more visible.
