Came here because IVY was located conveniently at IFC with a lovely view of the harbour and ferris wheel.

IVY serves French food.
When you sit down, there is a plate of tomatoes, salt and a whole lemon.
The tomatoes are appetizers and the lemon and salt are condiments.

They will give you a bag of bread to start with which is contained in a lovely paper bag.

French green beans and foie gras – aged balsamic:
Had this classic salad which is crispy crunchy beans with velvety cubes of foie gras in an appetizing balsamic dressing.

Warm prawns in olive oil basil lemon:
Next we had springy prawns in a fragrant olive oil.

Burrata and french tomatoes sherry vinegar basil:
The salad was lovely and reminded me of a salad that this French girl made me drenched heavily in vinegar.

Crab lobster salad cucumber:
The crab lobster salad was also good because it was a good balance of seafood and salad vegetables.

Escargot snails, garlic butter , parsley , pasti almond flour:
These were plump snails in delicious garlic butter, after adding salt they tasted much better.

Flawless fresh mussels with a spicy kick to it.

Spring chicken herbs de provence with Espelette powder , garlic jus:
The chicken was soft and supple with a delicious roasted skin.

Lemon sole almondine olivers, caper, marcona almonds:
The fish was the star in my opinion because and I love fish.
Lemon sole is a common fish in the UK but rare in Hong Kong.

For desserts we had souffle and the creme brulee but personally I found them too sweet and buttery.

Tahitan vanilla crème brulee strawberries:
Heavily spiked with vanilla seeds.
