I was quite surprised 3 potatoes was recommended in the Michelin guide because HongKongers don’t really eat potatoes.
Anyway, I was keen on trying it because I love baked potatoes and there are not many places that do decent potatoes in HK.
I never really made an effort to try this joint because you have to eat it on the streets or find a spot to eat it which is difficult in polluted Mong Kok.
What makes it worse is there is a bin close bellowing out second hand smoke.

Finally tried it because they had a pop store at Metro City.
I tried the baked potato with sour cream and bacon and I wanted to try the twice baked potato which is not what the name suggests because the potato is filled with mash on top which is why it is called twice baked potato.
Anyway, the potato was quite disappointing because it was hard and not fluffy and silky like it should be.
The sour cream and onions were nice but it would be nicer if it had real cheese but no complaints on that because I would rather have a potato with a lovely soft and fluffy texture.

The cone was fun to eat because they made it look like an icecream, there were other flavours as well such as bacon and cheese but they topped it with marshmallows and sprinkles which is super weird.

Made an effort and went to Prince Edward to have the Chinese potato rosti which is evidently Chinese style because the texture was exactly shredded potatoes (TudouSi) 土豆絲 topped with sour cream.
Not impressive because it was nothing like a rosti but the gorgeous sour cream brought back memories of Ireland's potatoes which packed up in the end!
