I like FOVEA because they have decent dance lights for clubbing.

Upstairs, they serve food and it was pretty good.

Here was what we had:

Jellyfish:
Big chunks of jellyfish seasoned with fragrant spring onion and sesame oil.

Spicy beef tendon terrine:
The spicy flavour was nice but the texture was too chewy for me.

Chinese pork terrine:
張果佬肴肉
Not sure what the English is for this type of pork but it tasted like salted pigs knuckles.
Again, the jelly is quite chewy.

Soup of the day (beans and fish 赤小豆粉葛堡鲮魚):
A very concentrated soup which I found it quite sweet with a salty aftertaste.

Smoked egg with caviar:
This was quite nice because the egg had a strong wine taste with a creamy thick runny egg yolk.

Tofu:
A nice vegetarian dish with tofu, yellow fungas and hard tofu.

Prawns in strawberry sauce:
I don't normally like strawberry sauce but the sauce here tastes natrual and not cloyingly sweet like artificial strawberry syrup.
The prawns were fresh and springy.

Typhoon shelter style crab claws:
I was surprised this was really nice because the batter was light infused with spices but you could still taste the sweetness of the crab.
