Ever since trying the cat themed tea set I was hooked and they keep launching new sets.
This time I had Ghoulish Halloween Afternoon Tea Set.

To begin the experience, you are given a bamboo container containing flat bamboo sticks with lettering on it called Chinese fortune sticks.

You shake it until one falls out and they will interpret it for you.
At DK Cuppa, you there are four categories and each one represents a scent which corresponds to the magic spell which is set alight later on.
The experience was quite interesting because there was some Western elements in it as well as the table decorations such as skulls and pumpkins.
We were served drinks first which was blue butterfly pea tea with two syringes.
If you add the liquid, the drink will turn purple which sweetens the drink.
During Halloween Trick or Treat is a must with lots of sweets.
We thought they were sweets inside the pumpkin but they were savoury lobster balls and fish balls.
For starters, there was shrimp pumpkin soup.
Then for the savouries, there were rosemary croissants, smoked salmon and beef and gravy pie.
You can literally dig in the pie and it is filled with juicy lean pieces of beef in it.
The other part of the set is the sweet part, the corresponding readings that you picked from the fortune sticks are placed on the creme brulee and set alight as if the spell was casted!
Other treats were spooky macaroons, creepy spider icing cookies as well as pumpkin white truffle chocolate and chocolate muffin.
I really enjoyed it and it was a great chance to dress up in Halloween costumes.
