Van Gogh Senses aims to infuse life with Van Gogh, it is under Senses Holdings Limited where they have an exclusive license from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.

Went there for a gathering because they offer long tables that can cater for big groups.
That night, there were two dinner sets: Almond blossom or Sunflowers.
The Sunflower was the heavier menu but it was difficult choosing because both menus were very different and there would be something you would want on both menus!!
In the end I went for the Sunflower.

Started with the bread basket.
There was a good assortment and the breads were yeasty and fresh.

Here was the sunflowers set that I had:
French Oyster, Gazpacho Pearls

A strong fresh oyster complemented by the refreshing and pretty Gazpacho pearls.

Hokkaido Scallop, Sweet Corn Puree:


The scallop was tender and the sweet corn was very sweet, a nice sweet twist following the oyster.

Dutch Peas & Smoked Ham Soup:
I loved this because it was loaded with ingredients, a hearty soup just like Western soups.


Burrata Cheese & Heirloom Cherry Tomato,Beetroot ,Basil Foam:
This was colourful and appetizing with a silky lightness from the basil foam.


Braised 24hours Wagyu Beef Cheek Fettuccine, 14months DOP Asiago Crispy

The pasta was filling and they make their own pastas.

Carabinero Prawns & Mussels, Sea Asparagus


The prawns and sea asparagus were strong and I loved the saltiness of the sea asparagus.

USDA Prime Beef Tenderloin , Artichoke & Red Shallot USDA:
Finished the dinner with this tender and juicy tenderloin on a bed of delicious mash.

Orange Sticky Cake , Blue Butterfly Pea Sauce:
Dessert was sweet and divine with my favourite orange cake.
Nothing more and nothing less.

Finished with tea which was a perfect and special end to dinner because they had Sunflower tea which is really unique and matches the whole dinner and restaurant flawlessly.
