To be honest, I haven't travelled Asia except Hong Kong and Macau so when I was given a flyer for Sisombath I didn't even know it was a place in Laos.
This place is definitely worth trying as there is no other place like it and I like the electrifying logo.
Before I went, I watched the interview by yumsiknaamlui and it turns out it is helmed by Justin Chan who has royal blood in Laos.
On social media, there were lots of colouful vegetables and noodles posted at Sisobath so this was just my thing.
Started with the exotic vegetable platter and salad.
Everything was colourful and the chili sauce really surprised me because it was spicy and one of the ingredients was chewy beef skin which I would never have guessed.
Next were the siracha chicken wings, they were lovely and crispy in a flavourful sauce.
The refreshing green mango salad had a twist to it with coarse crushed peanuts and dried shrimps.
Next were the noodles which I found hard choosing because each broth is so different.
The chicken one is infused with young coconut while the seafood broth is made with crab and fish.
The vegetarian one was also one of my picks because I love vegetables.
They serve special rice noodles which is thinner than Yunnan rice noodles and hangs the soup well.
As well as noodles, the white or red curry which is served with a special rice.
