Philippine Chinese Buns

I love going to WWH because it is similar to Chongqing mansions but they sell Philippine goods.
You can find DunkinDonuts there as well.
As well as Philippine foods, you will also find Chinese steamed buns Philippine style.
The packaging is impressive and modern.
There was a choice of roast pork or meatball in a plain or steamed taro bun by Eng Bee Tin.
Eng Bee Tin was established in 1912 on Ongpin Street by Chua Chiu Hong, a migrant from mainland China whose family decided to reside in the Philippines. The business started as a small stall selling Chinese delicacies.
The steamed bun is in a neat plastic pocket which keeps it clean while you don't get your hands dirty.
It is quite big in size and uniform so it is probably made by machine.
The ube pao was fluffy and the meat inside was quite tasty.
I hope to try the roast pork bun next time.
It might be pricey compared to local ones but the packaging and quality is much better.
