SS is a famous Hong Kong old fashioned hamburger place serving basic burgers for $20 and a double patty with egg or cheese that would only cost you $30.They used to be at another location in Hunghom and now they have moved to the Whampoa end near the MTR exit.
The prices of the burgers are still affordable!
I was relieved to see a familiar face from the old place in the kitchen.
Had the basic burger set with popcorn chicken because I really wanted the curry sauce!
The other set I had was the fried chicken leg.
To be honest, my main motive was eating chips with curry sauce which were so comforting as the curry sauce was damn good and tastes like Chinese Takeaway curry sauce while their chips were blonde and not overdone.
Another burger I liked was the [beef steak] burger which is actually a piece of beef that has been tenderized with soda coated in crispy breadcrumbs.
Definitely coming back again to try the pork chop and chicken burger to see how they fare.
