I was in the area so finally made it to LiHO.
Tried the avocado milk because I like avocados.
Luckily, they will be opening a new shop in Tst so I can try the other drinks because Kwuntong and Yuenlong are just too far out of town.
The avocado milk was pleasant and not too sweet.
I could taste coconut palm sugar or something similar as the coconut flavour was prominent as well as the avocado.

Was attracted here by the decor so went in.The tables and chairs were presentable as well as the food on the menu.
Ordered the crab roe noodles, dandan noodles, steamed buns and the fish.
The noodle portions were big!!
The buns were not as fluffy as I hoped but the vegetable filling was good.
The fish was fantastic, it was crispy and the fish was silky complimented by the sweet and sour sauce.
I should have ordered rice to go with it because it was that good.
We didn't try the desserts but the dates stuffed with mochi seemed creative.
Hopefully I'll be back to try it.

In UK, I had no fuss or complaints with Vietnamese food but I found myself avoiding it in HK because the quality and taste is so different from UK.Recently heard of Co Thánh but it didn't really motivate me, but Fûhn did because they specialize in North American Pho which I have always wanted to try.
The reason why Fuhn appealed to me is that CBCs, ABCs and celebs are always raving about how good the pho is over there just like how the texture and taste of ricerolls and noodles are more elastic and not sweet by default in UK.

The noodles are served with herbs such as basil, perilla, fish mint, rice patty herb, which you can add according to your preference.
You also get a side of beanshoots, chili and lime for the noodles.
The beanshoots are impressive because each one has had the top and tail removed so they look clean and fresh.
Moving onto the noodles, we got the XXL special beef pho where the bowl is so big that it takes up most of the table and the chopsticks and spoon seem tiny in proportion.

Tried the broth first which instantly got me hooked because of the strong herbs yet the broth was clear and light free from a layer of oil.
It was savory and not sweet like Hong Kong phos and the noodles were just right flavoured with that broth.
The noodles were topped with thinly sliced onions, raw beef, cooked beef, beef tendons, beef balls and beef tripe.
I really liked the beef tripe because it was sliced to about 4mm so it hung more soup and it was less chewy to chew!!
We also had a platter and the prawn cakes were the best, they were tasty and fluffy with chunks of prawn in it which tastes like the prawn paste they use in UK's sesame prawn toasts served in Chinese joints.


Finished with avocado milkshake and Vietnamese ice blended coffee, both did not disappoint but there was tomato smoothie on the menu too so it will be on my drink list on the next visit, so will the chicken noodles.

On fridays and saturdays, it will never be too late for pho as they close at 4am!!!!!!

Went here again because there is so many new dishes.They now have hot desserts and flamingo tea.
As I was hungry I had the burger and sweet potato fries.
They make their own patty which has a meat like texture yet tastes different to the one at Green Common hence another option for vegetarian burgers.
Initially the patty tasted like British pork sausage because of the herbs and then it tasted like the stuffing you get at Christmas with turkey so I loved it because these two are my favourites.
It turns out the patty is made of chestnuts hence the taste is really similar to stuffing.

Went here ages ago, the noodles were so so because the broth was too sweet for my liking.
The fishballs made up for it because they tasted nice with strong aged peel.

The stuff that they were showing on tv was old stuff, way before my time,
Anyway the owner got really worked up because my friend messed up 3 order sheets so he was so annoyed and told him off for wasting three pieces of paper LOL.
He said why couldn't you have crossed out the mistake instead of using a fresh order sheet.

I thought I was seeing things when I saw another DALLAYAU on the floor above the popup store and it turns out that this was a new Bistro so we went there for dinner as it is nice and quiet.
The cake selection is as good as always and it is impressive that they have a gluten free cake as a choice.

Parisian vegetable soup:
To most people, it looks like finely diced vegetables but I really liked it because it was light and tasty consomme.

The onion soup was also good because it was sweet with a concentrated onion taste that wasn't too salty.

This was a savory version of the Religieuse dessert, the top choux is stuffed with avocado while the bottom choux is filled with lobster.

Norwegian salmon roll:
The salmon roll is so much more stunning than the photo because it is wrapped in a delicious clear savory jelly.
In the middle there is a poached egg with a runny yolk which makes it evilicious and gives it a surprise to someone who is having it for the first time.
The gem lettuce on the side has been drizzled with lemon juice so it is really appetizing.

Next was the signature duck leg confit, the meat was soft and supple that it came off the bones easily.

Had to go to crappy KITEC so the nearest shuttle bus is Telford Plaza.As I was early, decided to try this place because of the green cake.
I was hoping it to be Pandan but it was Pistachio which is still favourable as long as it is not green tea.
It was nice and nutty but I wish there was more cake to cream ratio.
The sweetness was just right and the pistachio flavour came mostly from the crushed pistachio in the cake while the pistachio cream was light in flavour.

I was quite disappointed with the Sichuan dandan noodles, it was very spicy yet the rancid taste of the peanuts were so strong that it came through and ruined the broth.
The rancid taste was so bad that the noodles absorbed it and tasted horrible.
The vegetable buns saved the day as they were light and fluffy but tiny in terms of size because they are the same size as a Shanghai Dumpling.
I didn't really expect it to be good because the other branch is in Tsuenwan so the food is probably catered for urban areas where people don't have any expectations.

It was someones birthday so we got the black sesame cake from Habitu.
It was very pretty and sparkling.
The layers of chocolate cake and sesame cream filling went well nicely.

While we were there, we also had other drinks, my friend had the seasonal truffle latte while I had the beetroot latte.
It was the best beetroot latte I have ever had because there is real blended beetroot in it and you can choose to have it with coffee or without.
As a pandan lover, I had the pandan crepe which was light and fluffy with a fragrant pandan taste.

After the colourful unicorn tea set, DK Cuppa has another surprise with fairies.
This time, it is even more girly with flash tattoos and you can even opt to get your nails done, for more details visit their FB or website.
The tea set features a good mix of savoury and sweets.
I loved the croissants and cheese.
The scallop salad and lobster salad were satisfying tossed in a refreshing sauce.

The dessert platter was elegant especially the cranberry meringue, with all that delicious sweet meringue on top.
