Cream slices are finally in Hong Kong

I am so glad that MS have finally stocked these cream slices.
Basically it is cream and jam in between layers of puff pastry topped with a beautiful icing.
These are my favourite things to go with tea.

The smoothie on the other hand wasn't nice because the lime was too acidic!

Went here again food, this time I had the fish fingers roll.
The fish was how it should be ie chunky and flaky with a good fishy taste to it but the bread was a bit disappointing though because it was cold.

Nothing beats a good egg custard tart
Nothing beats a delicious egg custard tart from Marks and Spencer.
These taste better than Chinese egg tarts as the filling is creamy with a lovely custard taste infused with nutmeg on a shortcrust pastry.

Exclusive at this branch, they serve hot sausage rolls and pies.
Since I had the pie last time, I decided to get the sausage roll.
The sausage roll was small but delicious because the pastry was flaky and light while the sausage meat was mixed with herbs and spices.

Recently saw this new Spirit of summer yoghurt collection and all of the flavours were captivating.
In the end, I got the Mississipi chocolate mud pie which was delicious as expected.
I loved the tart yoghurt taste with bits of sweet chocolate in it.
After having the delicious yoghurt, I had a cup of tea as well.

It was good to see that they now have quiche which wasn't there before.
The quiche is the cheapest item so people who want to eat here without forking out too much can choose this.
The quiche that I had was a bit watery and the cheese was not strong enough.
Unfortunately I found a piece of pork bone in it.
In the food store, I like the way they have fresh drinking coconut where you just pull off the ring and insert the straw provided at the bottom and drink.

Got these for Christmas.

The Irish cream liquer chocolates were addictive because it was like eating Baileys icecream.

The bottle of white Christmas cocktail was really nice because it was pearlescent white and silver but unfortunately the alcoholic taste was too strong for me.

I went here to get some tea but ended up getting an apple tart because it looked delicious.
The apple tart was awesome, it was $20 which is quite pricy for a small tart but since it tasted good, it was worth $20.
The apple filling was sweet and tart with a sticky chewy texture which went well with my tea.
Nice bottle caps with the Union Jack.

I rarely go to MK because it is too congested with people and second hand smoke but I went here because of Marks and Sparks which has something different compared to the Central and Tai Koo branch.
Although it boasts to be the biggest food store in Hong Kong, the other MS food stores seem bigger especially the Central branch.
They serve Mac and Cheese balls, Beef and onion/chicken and mushroom slices and there is a nice table to dine there.
I got the Mac and Cheese balls and the steak and onion slice and I would have got tea as well but the staff said I could not use this stamp card because they said it is for Coffee related drinks only.
I was given this card in Central where I have been using it on TEA ONLY and if the dumbasses looked closely at the card you can see tea cups as well as coffee cups.

An email has been sent to Marks and Sparks because the staff should be trained about their own products and services instead of making up non-existent rules and it is a waste of breathe trying to reason with dumb people.

Anyway, the Mac and cheese balls were good, the coating was crispy and it had real cheesy cheese in the middle with decent macaroni but the cheese could have been stronger.

The slice was really good and I haven’t had this for ages because I don’t have an oven.

The puff pastry was flakey and buttery and it was filled with delicious beef in the middle.
