Curry Hamburger steak with rice and curry sauce:
Although the product shot was only for reference, it was interesting that the hamburger was much smaller and there were no carrots in the sauce.

Udon with sesame sauce with shredded chicken:
This is basically the same as the chinese noodles in sesame sauce with chicken and julienne cucumbers.
The sesame sauce is stronger than the Chinese one to give the udon full flavour, however the sesame taste was not as sickly as the Chinese one because it was slightly sweet and sour.
There were also tempura pieces as a side on the noodles which made it Japanese. The tempura pieces were quite nice because the frying oil was fresh and they were fried just right that they were light and crispy.
As well as chicken there was also a Japanese style hot spring egg Onsen Tamago which is similar to a poached egg however the surface of the egg is smooth!

Milk cap Green forest tea:
Tried this drink because it was new, but on the poster it does not really say what it is and when I asked the staff they said it was just tea so that was really helpful.
The original one is just jasmine tea with a layer of buttery milk cream on top, this one was visually green which matches its name green forest, but the tea was the same as the original one and it was jasmine.
As for the cream it was lime green and I couldn't taste any difference in it compared to the original one.

Not a fan of udon because it is always tasteless and soft.
I tried this place because of the prawn broth and the udon with cod fish roe.

Warm udon with cod fish roe
The temperature of the udon was quite warm but not too hot that the roe changed colour and texture.
The udon here is chewier than the type at Ajisens.
Before mixing the roe in the centre it was already partially mixed with cod roe and the taste of the udon was quite nice.
However I made the mistake of not try the cod roe and mixing it directly into the udon and it ended up really salty.

Udon with pork in prawn broth
The broth for this was really good. If you have tried sun-dried prawns it tastes like that with a very concentrated prawn taste but not too salty.
The udon tasted nice in prawn soup it but since I am not a fan of udon I wasn’t wowed by it.
The pork however tasted better because it was fresh and sliced extremely thin, there was not much fat on it and it was tender.
The broth had a nice golden colour.

Tried the mini puffs which costs $10 for four.

They were quite Asian because they were topped with sesame.

Anyway, I didn't like it because the pastry was too buttery and the BBQ filling was too sweet.

I was attracted by its name: Fru:yo factory, I was expecting there would be lots of yogurt dispensers just like Tutti-melon and Tutti-Frutti.
I was expecting the experience to be fun like visiting Charlie's chocolate factory such as getting toppings from turning carousels, or cute containers on a conveyor belt just like a real factory.

There are two branches, one in Causeway Bay and this one, two extreme places, one in city side of Hong Kong and the other in the urban side of Hong Kong.
Usually, shops will open either in the city or in the urban areas to see how it goes, and then expand to the other areas.

Anyway, the interior was indeed fun, there was a fountain in the middle where you could sit around it, however the fountain was not flowing.

I liked the tiling on the floor the most, it was printed with flowers in between the lines which looked quite realistic.
The main theme of the yogurt was the elephant, I couldnt quite understand why this was chosen as a mascot, I felt that ladybirds or fairies would suit it better, but then these are the type of western styles I have been brought up with.

Its wooden approach and earth colours made it down to earth and naturistic, whilst the fonts and names of the drinks made it feel American.
The spoon matched the joint as well; it was matt material and light beige in colour.

For the froyo there were only two flavours, original and chocolate.
I tried the chocolate first and it was too strong and floury, so I chose the original.
The original was very thick, but quite sweet. They were very generous with the toppings!
I chose the caramel kanten, which was clear and glistened in gold.

After from froyo they had drinks too with attractive names such as: Sunshine in love, blue breeze, gold coast.
The gold coast was interesting because it was kiwi based

Price: For the smallest size (cute) it cost $24 which is relatively cheap.

This is probably the best restaurant in TKL, the decor is rather dreamy, it has a white tree with flashing blue LED lights, the interior is rather modern European.

This restaurant and the Design school opposite is quite surreal in the whole of TKL, the rest of the shops and eateries seem grey and gloomy.

Although it appears to be Italian, alot of the items are not authentically Italian, but serving steaks and fusion items.

I ordered two snack platters which was a choice of three items, a soup, and a drink for $48.

There were six choices to choose from, so for two snack platters, tried all the six dishes.

1) Ravioli in cheese sauce
2) Mussels in cream sauce
3) Dessert of the day
4) Portugese baked vegetables
5) Potato wedges in bolognaise
6) Napolean grilled ribs in vinegar

To soup was served first, a mushroom soup and a Russian borst soup, I felt that the mushroom tasted better, it contained alot of finely chopped mushrooms.
Dessert of the day was one of those desserts from the range of desserts on their cabinet.

Basically the white sauce for Ravioli and the mussels were the same, the mussel were fresh and not the frozen ones.
The potato wedges were fried potato wedges topped with bolognaise sauce.
All the dishes tasted good, but I felt that 1 and 2 were the best.
