I actually came here a long long time ago,
Nice decor, with a fish at everytable.

I ordered instant noodles with peppered duck breast. But their main recommendations are coffee and cakes which I will try next time.

I can only eat at this place when I am early.....it closes at 11.30AM arrrr.

The best dish here is the ja leung (crunchy fried dough wrapped in cheung fun)
drenched in sweet soy sauce.

Another HK style hamburger place, where they claim to make their own beef patties.
However the patties here are 1 inch in thickness.

When they are being grilled, they smell of the typical barbeque in England, giving off that strong smell of onion.

As for the beefburger, it tastes like the hk style burger with rich tomato sauce.
The other interesting burger tried, was the chicken burger with crunchy crisp. It was quite nice as the chicken was juicy and tender, and combined with fried wonton layer, it made it more interesting.

I also like the way, the burger was neated wrapped up, making it mess free to eat.

Yay, so happy today, just had gravy and chips...
havent had that in ages.

I will be back for the other different sauces, such as chips with curry sauce, satay sauce, belgian mayonnaise.

Can't wait!!

[Review 94] Quite good for afternoon tea @ 簡單廚房 Match Too Cafe

Ordered a baked seafood rice and strawberry ribs.

The strawberry ribs were good, because they were boneless, served in a fancy plate, separated in sections, ie the ribs, rice, veg.

The drinks were the usual lemon tea, coffee etc

[Review 93] Chinese style noodles @ 池記

a clean style restaurant for noodles, instead of those noisy noodle places.]

Ordered the noodles with spicy sauce, not bad..however more sauce could have been given to mix with the noodles. The soup that came with it, is different to the traditional ones, it has little prawn eggs in it.

Also the barley drink was good too, not too sweet, but the glass could be cleaner, as there was tiny spots of oil in it.
