After a delicious satisfying burger from Toppings, I was a bit thirsty so saw some drinks here, either young coconut or lime water.
Anyway I picked the lime water, it was displayed nicely in the drinks counter, already prefilled, with a wedge of lime in the cup.
It tasted nicer than expected, no artificially cordial syrup taste to it.
Not too sour or too sweet, and it was very refreshing.
Their menu was pretty much the same since I last came, so nothing new on the menu for me to try.

[Review 327] Very tender and juicy chicken burger @ Burger King 漢堡王 (灣仔)
Burger King 漢堡王 (灣仔) 09/07/2009
灣仔軒尼斯道314-324號地庫
Basement, W Square, 314-324 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/very-tender-and-juicy-chicken-burger-e2010560
Finally paid this branch a visit, and ordered the Tender flamed grilled chicken.
I really liked the bun, topped with yellow maize rather than sesame seeds.
The burger was neatly presented, no lettuce falling out or sauce on the sides.
Very manageable in terms of size, and not too much salad in the bun.
The chicken was very juicy and tender just as stated, and the chicken was thigh meat which could not go wrong.
The fries were crunchy, much better than the BK at the airport branch.
Also had a spicy grilled chicken wing, good as expected and not too dry or overly spicy.

[Review 326] Early dinner/afternoon tea @大家樂 Cafe De Coral

灣仔駱克道151號1樓
1/F, 151 Lockhart Road, Wan Chai
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/early-dinner-afternoon-tea-e2010081
Ordered a mini roast pork with rice, including HK style tea, and also ordered a lettuce and fish soup.
The tea I gave away, and the rice was nice and soft, and the roast pork was not too fat or lean, with enough soy sauce.
The soup, had bits of lettuce and fish patty, the advantage having it here, is that it is more hygienic than the one served in the congested streets.

Ordered the Supreme beef fried rice, garnished nicely with a piece of seaweed.
The rice was Japanese pearl rice, it also had shredded lettuce, lumps of beef.
Not too salty or oily.
The portion was sufficient for lunch.

[Review 324] Savory Olive cherry tomato mousse cake @ HABITŪ table

Was intending to try the Molten sea salt chocolate cake, but it was sold out, so opted for the tomato mousse cake with Olive oil.
A bit strange, the combination reminded me of Italian Panini, anyway tasted a bit weird but ok.
The bits of tomato tasted hard and sweet, like glazed cherry.
Also ordered Breakfast tea as well, but I can never understand why people never give milk with tea, unless you request for it.

[Review 323] All you can eat Dim Sum buffet @ Little Sheep 小肥羊 (銅鑼灣)
Little Sheep 小肥羊 (銅鑼灣)

銅鑼灣駱克道463-483號銅鑼灣廣場二期2樓
2/F, Causeway Bay Plaza 2, 463-483 Lockhart Road, Causeway Bay
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/all-you-can-eat-dim-sum-buffet-e2009710
Went to try their Dim Sum buffet, $55 per person plus 10% service charge and tea.
Their Dim Sum range includes all the basics you can eat in any restaurant, such as the Prawn Hargau, Various rice rolls, Beef balls, chicken feet, dessert, and their Mongolian dishes.
I was surprised most of their dishes were satisfactory, the Har Gau was wrapped more like the Mongolian dumplings/Italian tortellini. The dishes that let it down were the beef balls, and lamb dumplings. The beef balls were very red, either caused by soda powder or being uncooked. The lamb dumplings were the worst, it tasted so foul, I wanted to puke after taking one bite.

[Review 322] Reminds me of Wagamama @ Misocool
03/07/2009 Misocool
鰂魚涌華蘭路2至10號惠安苑低層地下SLG8-9A舖
Shop SLG8-9A, Sub-lower G/F, Westlands Gardens, 2-10 Westlands Road, Quarry Bay
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/reminds-me-of-wagamama-e2008850
Well, thought there was only one Misocool in HK, but there is one in Staunton Street, despite finding out too late, I still went to the Quarry bay one.
Quite an array of restaurants there, Epoch, Habitu, Misocool, and even KFC on that road.
Got there early in the evening, was allocated to this communal type large table, the décor and settings reminds me of WAGAMAMA http://www.wagamama.com/
At Wagamama, there are huge long tables, where people sit in rows with people opposite each other, and they are also specialists in noodles as well.
Anyway back to Miscocool, I ordered the White carrot gyozas, Stir-fried ink noodles in soup, Spicy Konjac noodles in soup, and a Miu Miu Berry (Strawberry milkshake).
The gyozas, was the main attraction that drew me to Misocool, normal gyozas are wrapped like dumplings, however these gyozas are minced gyoza fillings in between a folded sliced white carrot.
Presented on a plate with a drop of Japanese mayonnaise and fish roe on top. The gyoza is crunchy and the white carrot on the outside has been pan-fried. When dipped in the soy dipping sauce, the taste of white carrot is more evident, as the crunchiness has been softened by the soy sauce.
With or without sauce, it tastes good, however I prefer without the sauce, so that it tastes crunchier.
As for the noodles, they tasted OK, the spicy konjac noodles tasted like bean thread noodles but thicker and chewier. The noodle shape was long and cylindrical a bit different to the illustrated pictures which was long and flat like tagliatelle.
The Konjac noodles, had a sugar centred egg (tong sum daan), my first time eating one as I always had the impression it was sweet, but it just tastes like a soft boiled egg with a slight runny firm centre .
The ink noodles was also good, the bowl was worth its price, full of vegetables, seafood, even found 2 clams, 4 prawns, squid, 2 scallops. The soup base was nice and milky, however the smell was slightly milky for me. The only draw back, was the noodles were hot in temperature all the way through, which took me ages to eat, and frankly food with high temperatures, you can’t really taste it.
Lastly the milkshake didn’t taste that nice, a bit fake, no ice-cream taste in it at all, or maybe the fake strawberry taste was just the strawberry ice-cream.
