The cake looked really good on display so went in to try them, however both were disappointing.

Chocolate cake with orange liquor:
Absolutely no taste in orange whatsoever, only the pieces of orange on the top.
There was no alcohol taste either, and the whole texture was very crumbly.

Opera:
Looked like an authentic Opera cake with layers, however tasted nothing like the real thing.

There are two branches in Shau Kei Wan, not sure which one is better, however the noodles in sauce at this branch are not as strong as the one opposite.
The sauce at this place tastes more like oyster sauce, whereas the one opposite is more soy sauce based.
I had noodles with braised beef, however most of it was beef tendons, not much beef.

Firstly, I think the photo explains it really.

Secondly, it is hard to order from the waitor who seems to talk gibberish!

Thirdly, this little shop has been established since 1969, i wonder if they've been serving cochroache fried rice all these years to keep in business!!!

Last time I didn’t try their Japanese instant noodles, so this time tried it.

I chose the one with pork liver. The broth was actually liver broth, and the soup powder was not added, but optional with a pair of vintage scissors for your use.
Just like the reviews said, the broth was really strong, so it didn’t really need the soup powder.

I think that next time I will drink the broth first, so the noodle doesn’t go soft.

This time tried the other dumplings: scallop and pork, these were not as tasty as the fish maw ones.

The boiled liver wasn’t as tender as last time, anyway as well as that ordered the Pig’s lung soup.
Well I am not really a person that eats internal organs, but I just felt like giving it a try, knowing their food is relatively clean. The broth to the soup was very strong of almond; it had lots of almond fragments in it.

As for the pork lungs, it was VERY SOFT, the colour and texture was like whale blubber. Anyway it tasted ok, but just disgusting seeing the flesh coloured pieces. I am not a cannibal, but it just seemed like eating human remains. The pork lungs were so unbelievably soft and smooth.
