Got the Japanese noodle set which came with Jelly, green tea and fried gyozas.
There was nothing interesting about the set, except for the triangle shaped gyozas, quite cool.
The jelly I didnt like because the grape flavour just tasted like plastic odour.

Felt like some stir fried instant noodles, so this was the only place in the food court that had it.
I asked for the black beans and spareribs one (chinese: gone chow see jiu pai gwut gung jai mean)
which means it is the dry noodles.
After waiting for a while, the lady waved me over to tell me, they don't do dry style, which is weird, since it did say "gone chow".
They said it will only be cooked with black pepper, anyway I chose a different noodle, the Satay flavour.
It was ok, but way too Salty.

[Review 925]Rocky road ice-cream crepe @ Mazazu Crepe

Felt like something sweet,  but the rocky road ice-cream crepe I got was just a little too sweet.

I felt that having a plain crepe was better than having all those fillings, anyway the crepe contained chocolate ice-cream, puffs with chocolate ice-cream puffs, marshmallow, cream and chocolate sauce.

Overall it was a bit messy and heavy for a dessert, however the Finger Crepe featured on the poster seems good.

The flyer for strawberry milkshake was very attractive, simple and shows what the milkshake contains.

Strawberries + Strawberries + Milk!

So this was the reason I got it. Fortress Hill has become fascinating, more and more joints are have opened here.

Anyway, I ordered the strawberry milkshake, and then saw another one with marshmallows, so I changed my order to that.

Taste wise, the strawberry wasnt that strong, infact a little fake, but I did see them put frozen strawberries in the blender, perhaps there wasnt that much strawberries as the flyer illustrated, and some strawberry syrup flavouring was added.

When I got the drink, I was given a matching pink straw, almost the same colour as the milkshake, how princess/barbie like!

Usually marshmallows are for toasting at bbqs, hot chocolates, and now as a topping for froyo, but for cold drinks this is a first.

The size of the marshmallows were rather big, you can see from the picture that they are bigger than the straws diameter.

Marshmallows bigger than straw
There was some black dot on the marshmallow which I didnt know what it was, or I would have had a perfect white/pink picture.

Anyway, while I drank the milkshake, the marshmallows floated on top and increased in size, making it impossible to go through the straw, whilst it was impossible at the start anyway!!

Apart from the milkshakes, the other snacks seems interesting, which I should try someday, honey sandwich (spelt SandWISH) on their menu, and curry potato sandwich.
Although their meaning of SandWISH seems to be "piggy bun" in Chinese (round crusty bun)

Good points:
Cute

Bad points:
They should have smaller marshmallows that can fit through the straws, the drink was too sweet and lacked taste of real strawberries.

[Review 923] Cheese pizza delivery @ 芝脆雞 Cheese Pizza

Ordered a delivery set for $135, it contains a side, 3 pieces of fried chicken and a choice of pizza.

There was four pieces of chicken instead of three, which was good.

The pizza wasnt really extraordinary, it was rather tasteless and the base is rather thick and hard, thankfully I ordered the sausage in mexican sauce, so I used that sauce on the Pizza. The sauce was basically chilli con carne.

The chicken was ok, but it tastes better dining there.

If you live in a village, I was told by the delivery guy that they only deliver to the entrance of the village and they do not go in.

[Review 922] Apokat milkshake (avocado milkshake) @ 巴東印尼餐廳 Padang Indonesia Restaurant

Thankfully there was no need to travel to Indonesia to try Apokat milkshake, a beverage made of Avocado, some are made with syrup and some are made with chocolate sauce.
The Apokat milkshake here was nice and creamy, there was no avocado taste, but after swallowing the full impact of avocado arrives.
The drink itself was smooth and thick, and there was chocolate syrup decorated on the side of the cup.
As well as the drink, I tried the Pandan Katam Hitam, it is a two coloured cake made from glutinous rice.
This cake was really nice, it was chewy, and a slightly sticky texture from using glutinous rice rather than normal flour.
The texture was very similar to a sweet malt loaf, but not so dense and chewy.
Mangkok Pandan tape ketam was slightly dense, but the texture was like a cake. The top was covered with pandan paste and had a piece of young coconut in the middle.
The taste was similar to Pandan Katam Hitam, but slightly stronger and sweeter.

The food here was actually quite good, but since the place I wanted to go was closed, it took me a while to get my senses back.

There were lots of restrictions on the menu, some were not available over the weekend.
Every page on the menu was different in format, not really consistent, it was hard finding something to order because it wasnt clearly stated which branch they are served, and which days they were not available.

Like I said, I wasnt in the mood for this food, and plus ordering made it more difficult with their confusing menu.

In the end ordered tuna toast and noodles with passionfruit green tea, and Hami melon green tea.

The toast was filled with fishy tuna, and super thin slices of cucumber with mayonnaise, and the noodles were OK.

The Hami melon drink was the best, initially I thought it was hami melon milk tea, because there were so many fine bubbles after being shaken in the cocktail shaker, after a while the bubbles dispersed, and it was golden clear tea at the bottom with a frothy top.

Interestingly, there is a slight mis-translation, in chinese it is called hami melon tea and in English it is cantaloupe melon tea.

As well as that, i found the toilet notice amusing, "maintaining out of order"
