I decided to try this froyo place because previous reviews have mentioned how sour the froyo was.
As well as that, a lot of pictures from the reviews showed a big hole in the yogurt.
They should change their name from Razzleberry to Holeberry.
Anyway, when I got there, I wanted to get the chocolate one and the original, but they did not let people try samples.

This is a real revenue buster, especially I was going to get both.
So in the end I only got the original.

As expected when I was handed over the cup of froyo, you could feel how light it was because the froyo is only on the side of the bowl and then swirled in the centre to cover the hole!

The froyo did taste sour, but not the usual yogurt sour, the froyo was very icy as well.
The spoon that came with it was flimsy, long and thin.
It felt like it was going to snap every time I used it.

Overall I felt the yogurt here was so distinct, it tasted different to all other yogurts in HK, but the thing it tasted like the most was Sugus 瑞士糖's blue one.
I think the blue one is meant to be the pineapple flavour.

Forgot to bring a camera, hence I need to be more descriptive than usual~

Ordered Fish and Chips.

The fish and chips were served with minted peas, tartar sauce.
The peas were mixed with partial mint leave pieces that looked like peas with herbs in it.
The chips were hand cut but on the menu there were a choice of shoestring fries or the thick cut.
The batter to the fish had herbs in it, and it was not too crunchy but it was slightly too salty.
The fish was frozen fish, but it was tender and moist.

Carnegies now post their weekly menu online so you can see their menu in advance

[Review 1168] Taro mousse drink @ 日出茶太 Tea Time House

Had no intention of trying drinks here before because nothing interested me until I saw the poster of this mousse drink.
It was Taro mousse.
The poster shows that it has cream on top similar to Gung Cha.
When I got my drink, the amount of cream was more generous than GC, it was about an inch thick.
Perhaps the cream was their idea of mousse.
Anyway I tasted the mousse, it had some taro and coconut flavouring, it was thicker and nice than the salty one at GC.
The cream and drink was cleverly separated by ice-cubes, until you decide to mix it together.
I tried the purple part of the drink, the texture was not like mousse, but it was interesting because it contained lots of taro.
It is similar to the "sau gum heung wu" at ShareTea that also contains taro pieces in it.

[Review 1167] Choco-Banana Part 3 - $3 dollar price discrepancy! @ 許留山 Hui Lau Shan Healthy Dessert

After trying the choco-strawberry and choco-melon drinks, I got the choco banana from this branch to try.

There was a price difference from the two other stores, both Hang Hau and the Po Lam branch cost $29 per cup, but here the choco-series cost $32!
If you check my choco-melon review, the photo shows that it only cost $29 per cup!~

picture that shows it cost $29 per cup

Anyway, I ordered two, the choco banana and choco strawberry to compare the strawberry one at this branch with the Po Lam one.

However when both drinks were made, the drinks where not consistent, there was more chocolate powder in the choco-strawberry than the choco-banana, and the colour of the choco strawberry was evidently darker!
It was even more evident whilst both blenders were side by side, you could see the colour difference.

To my dismay, both of them at a more expensive price than the previous branches did not taste as good at the one at Po Lam.
There was too much chocolate that it was powdery and there was not enough strawberries or banana in it.
It was just like drinking a slushy chocolate smoothie.
Nothing near the amazing choco-strawberry drink at Po Lam.

[Review 1166] Whoopie doo with Starbucks red velvet whoopie pie @ 星巴克咖啡 Starbucks Coffee

The cake selection at Starbucks is really good, this time they had the Starbucks petites, which are cakes smaller than the standard size.
In their petites selections there were: blueberry cream puffs, red velvet whoopie pies, green tea red bean rolls, signature fruit tarts and chocolate whoopie pies.

In the end I chose the red velvet whoopie pie because I liked the strawberry red colour even though I knew it was food colouring.
The colourful sprinkles on the top made it look nice, however the Starbucks US version of this is much more natrual.
It also looked like a huge macaron!

The whoopie pie (alternatively called a gob, black-and-white, bob, or "BFO" for Big Fat Oreo) originates from America. It is classified as a baked product that may be considered either a cookie, pie, or cake. It is made of two round mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake, or sometimes pumpkin cake, with a sweet, creamy filling or frosting sandwiched between them.

The cake was moist and red because it was a red velvet cake.
Some red velvet cakes contain cocoa or vanilla in the mixture.

This one it tasted of vanilla. The cream inside was smooth and buttery, it reminded me of Victorian sandwiches but without the jam.
Overall the cake was nice so I could say whoopie doo!

[Review 1165] Jacomaxtastic pizza in town! @ Jacomax (上環)

Last time I went to Sai Kung, I had Bibini’s ice-cream. I was surprised the owner being the owner of Jacomax recommended Pomodoro pizza instead of his place!

Anyway, after trying Slices and Paisano’s, I am here at Jacomax.

I found that Jacomax was the best of the three with Slice’s being second for over cooked cheese.
However the location and dining facilities at Jacomax is definitely the best.
The pizza was freshly made and baked infront of you.

I chose the one with anchovies and olives, but after reading OpenRice, I should have chosen the parma ham.

Anyway, the pizza was delicious, but did not leave that bloated feeling, the pizza was light.
The tomato sauce in the pizza was nice and tangy, the anchovies gave it that salty touch.

The menu was nicely illustrated, and the illustration at the front looks like someone familiar in SaiKung!!???

[Review 1164] The complete Chinese Cafe Set @ 民華餐廳 Man Wah Restaurant

Similar to ADC, this place also serves sets comprising of scrambled eggs and macaroni, however only the eggs and toast taste good at ADC. The macaroni only acts as a filler at ADC.
However the macaroni at Man Wah tastes good, there are several options for macaroni, you can opt for noodles if you do not like macaroni.
This place also serves dim sum and snacks such as fried chicken wings and pickled vegetables.
If a normal sized macaroni doesn’t satisfy your hunger, they also have an extra large portion in a huge bowl.
The main problem is that the tables are too small you can't order too much.
Anyway, I ordered the set and tried the famous macaroni with liver in tomato broth, and the macaroni with liver in ginger broth, with scrambled eggs and toast. I also ordered chicken wings in cumin as well.
The wings came first, the cumin was strong and generous, however the wings were over fried to the extent the chicken was dry and tough.
The scrambled eggs were really good although ADC tastes better, the scrambled eggs here are much healthier and don’t contain as much oil and butter as ADC.
The texture of the egg was so light and fluffy. The luncheon ham that came with it was just right and not too salty.
The macaroni was really good as they were not mushy, tasteless or floury.
The soup for the liver and ginger was good, the tomato was Ok but it was ruined by the ginger in the soup base.
Tomato and ginger together is just weird.
