Felt like going to Saizeriya and was glad I went because there was new items on the menu.

Tried the grilled squid and batter grilled shrimps which was not previously on the menu.
Also ordered the black pepper sauce and chicken combo.

Grilled squid HKD25:
It looked nearly the same as the product shot, however I was worried it might not have been cooked thoroughly as the squid was huge and thick,
Anyway, the middle was not cooked long enough but edible.
The sauce for the squid was really nice, it was similar to satay sauce but with more savory tones in it.

Batter grilled shrimps HKD19:
The shrimps were huge, they were the same length as the table spoon.
The coating for the shrimp was quite thick too, the sauce that came with it was the prawn cocktail sauce that is served with the prawn cocktail and fried chicken pieces.
The coating was slightly burnt and dark if you compare it to the product shot.

Black pepper sauce and chicken combo HKD38:
This was a platter of fried chicken pieces, chicken wings and grilled chicken thigh with black pepper sauce which is quite good because you can sample all those items.

The air conditioning was freezing, all six were set around 20 degrees Celsius.

Marinated pork knuckle:
I wanted to order this on my last visit, but it did not look appetizing when I saw the freshly marinated pork knuckles in the metal pan.
I did not know that the pork knuckle would be conveniently sliced and topped with delicious gravy.
Anyway, the pork was soft and the pork skin was lovely and gelatinous and matched perfectly with the gravy.
The sauce was nice and savoury and not sweet which was good.

Spicy chicken:
I really loved this chicken as well because the spicy sauce was amazing, the whole dish tastes exactly like szechuan chicken (hau sui gaai)but it is not as spicy as that.
As well as boned chicken I found out you could request for skinned chicken so next time I will request for skinned chicken!

German chicken sausage burger:
I loved the chicken sausage and chicken patty which was more filling than the usual chicken burgers.

This branch of McDs used to be OK before it got rennovated and now they have added a McCafe which has made it worse.
I have nothing against McCafe but in all the other branches where they have a joint McCafe and McDs the seating is well segregated.
For McCafe patrons it is really hard to find somewhere to sit and in a tourist town like Sai Kung.

Clearly in the picture below there is no one eating McCafe food in the McCafe dining area.
The sliding glass doors facing McCafe have now been locked to seat more people so there is only one entrance like it used to be.
They now have tables outside which is good, but not so good when the tourists use them as a gathering point.

Overall the food here is over priced and you need to pay a 10% service charge as well as a HKD4 tea charge per person.
The air conditioning was too cold that it gives you headaches!

The noodles tasted how it should and it was not greasy, however due to the super cold air conditioning the noodles were cold which made it less tasty.

Rice rolls with Chinese roast pork
These rice rolls were different from other rice rolls with pork, the usual ones have pork inside with the rice roll wrapped outside the pork.
The roast pork here was chopped up into tiny pieces and embedded in the rice roll.
Personally I liked the rolls here because the pork was distributed more evenly and there was lots of spring onions in it.

Was browsing at the new restaurants listed on OpenRice and this name just caught my attention.
The name Chutney Mary just sounded so British for some reason so I made up my mind to go and try it.
I googled Chutney Mary and indeed there were lots of branches in UK, Australia, Singapore and the US.
However I was not sure if this branch is related to the other ones.
Anyway got there and it was quite a small joint.

Ordered chicken tikka and lamb kebab
For both dishes the portion of rice was huge and could't be finished!

The chicken was tender and the curry sauce that came with it was very spicy.

On my first visit I had the lotus leaf wrapped rice with abalone, after I ordered I noticed the double boiled hokkaido milk with abalone so decided to visit it again.
Ordered the double boiled hokkaido milk with abalone which comes with noodles and the waitor asked which noodle I would like so I ordered the fish noodles.

Not long the food arrived and it was rice which I did not order, so I told them it was the wrong order, not long after that they brought over a tray which "looked" correct but it was not the soup I ordered, so after that they checked what I ordered and finally brought the correct soup.
Although they brought over the wrong dish their kitchen was really quick at serving the food.
I wished they had double checked my order when they realised they gave me the wrong dish because it was really embarrassing for me and for them that they got it wrong the third time and it also makes me look like as if I was being difficult.

Anyway they finally got it right and my food arrived served on a tray, there was a bowl of fish noodles, a tea pot containing the double boiled hokkaido milk with abalone and a bowl of vegetables.

Double boiled hokkaido milk with abalone
This was contained in a tall teapot so there was a generous amount of soup in there. I doubt it was to go with the fish noodles because the noodles already had taste and there was a side dish of meat sauce on top of the vegetables.
Anyway I could be wrong and the soup could be for the noodles, but it is such a waste to put such a good soup with the noodles.
My interpretation is that it is just a soup just like other Chinese dinners where you drink it separately.
The taste of the soup tastes like chicken and coconut and the hokkaido milk was faint and the taste was not that milky.
Apart from that, the soup was very hot and it was very tiring to drink the soup because it was hard using a Chinese spoon to spoon soup from a very deep tea pot!
I poured the soup in the bowl that contained the fish noodles after I finished them, but again that bowl was huge and deep as well that it was really tiring to spoon it.
Lastly the abalone in the soup was nice and tender.

Fish noodles:
I love these fish noodles and I do not know any other place that serves them.
The great thing is that there are no brittle bones in it.
The texture of these noodles were soft and aerated/foamy.

Vegetables with meat sauce:
There was generous meat sauce on top of the vegetables and probably for the noodles as well if you find them bland.
