I was given these lovely cashew candies from Ivy, initially I thought she went on holiday because the packaging looked really Japanese, but it turns out they are from Health Works!!!
The bag is resealable too!

Cashew candy:

As well as cashew nuts they had other nuts too such as black sesame and peanut.
I really liked the cashew nut because it has a natrual sweet and buttery taste and all the nuts are held together by the sweet sugar candy.

At Breadtalk they now have the Danish bar which is a Danish pastry rolled into a stick/bar topped with icing, covered in cinnamon or filled with cream.
As well as Breadtalk I have seen them elsewhere.
There were about four different Danish bars and in the end I chose the cream one.
All the Danish bars are on a bamboo skewer.

On my way to the cashier I spotted the Yam Tornado, and was attracted by the purple filling!

Yam Tornado:
 Athough I am not allergic to peanuts but I think it should have been labelled that it contains peanuts because some people are allergic to it.
The taste was nice because the yam filling was not too sweet and the pieces of the peanut gave it a nice crunch.
However it was interesting that there was peanuts in the filling as well.

Danish bar:

The danish bar was quite sweet because the cream was sweet as well.
The texture of the danish was quite dry but luckily I chose the cream one because it balanced the dryness of the danish bar.

Hokkaido milk is famous for its creamy taste.
The number represents the fat content in it, so the higher the content the creamier it is.
The standard used to be 3.6, but now there is 3.7 which is a 0.1 increase in fat content.
At Yumemiya they now serve 3.7 Hokkaido milk softserve and there are lots of choices as well as original and green tea.

When I tried the vanilla icecream I was not that impressed because it just tasted like the softserve that you can get anywhere in the UK.
Compared to other softserves in Hong Kong, this one is definately the creamiest if you have not tried softserves in other countries.
For the green tea part, it tasted too grassy.

I never knew that you could get egg rice rolls, but I recently read Ivy's review about this rice roll place in Wan Chai that serves rice rolls with egg in it.

When I walked past this place, I saw a picture of rice rolls with preserved egg and egg so I decided to try that.

Apart from preserved egg, there were so many other choices for rice rolls.
Next time I am going to try the famous one nearby, but they only open during the evening.

I was slightly disappointed with this because the preserved egg was a bit hard and tasteless. The egg on the other hand was really nice and had strong egg taste.
After putting lots of soya sauce on it, the rice roll tasted really nice.
Since the rice rolls were tasteless, it would be great if they made preserved egg and salted egg rice roll!

It was really good to attend a Bubblicious gathering organized by Pierside and a food publication.
The theme was a cute Bubble dinner with lots of bubbles incorporated in every course.
For mains there was beef or fish to choose from, both were irresistible and hard to choose!
It would be great to eat both because both had really attractive elements, for the beef it was beef cheek and foie gras and the fish was prized monkfish tail and sea urchin.
Monkfish is a prized as lobster tail and sometimes exceeds the value of lobster!

scallop carpaccio with black truffle jelly and champagne vinaigrette:
I really loved the cute diced truffle jelly on top, it just melted in my mouth and the strong truffle taste paired nicely with the scallop carpaccio.
The champagne vinaigrette could have been stronger because I could not taste it, but even though I did not taste it, the overall taste was extremely delicious.

double boiled crab bisque cappuccino:
There was pretty foam on top just like cappuccino but the bubbles were bigger.
The soup beneath the foam was really hot and the consistency of the soup was slightly viscious with my favourite small chives.
The pieces of crab in the soup was really nice and the crab taste was strong.

seared monkfish tail rolled with prosciutto and sea urchin foam:
The main dish was beautifully presented with a piece of lushious carrot, fennal root, grilled courgette and blanched tender asparagus.
The monkfish was really delicious and succulent and paired with the refreshing sauce the monkfish was really appetizing flavoured by the prosciutto wrapped around it.
It was topped with the silkiest urchin and lovely light foam.

baked jumbo strawberry souffle:
The size of this souffle was huge and there were real pieces of strawberries in it.
There was a side of freshly made strawberry sauce which enhanced the souffle even more.
It was not too sweet and when you see it brought to you the size is stunning with the sweet pink colour.

To finish off the petit four were really nice accompanied by a cup of tea!

French can can, brut N,V:

Although I do not drink wine, I tried both to see what they taste like, the French can can was nice and sweet and the brut was sharper.

I am not fond of their Hong Kong style hot dogs compared to the ones at Wing Lok Yuen, but just tried it because I was in TST.

On my last visit to the CWB branch I forgot to add extra cheese to my hot dog, so this time decided to try it with extra cheese.

I wanted the single sausage hotdog so that I could taste the cheese more but the woman at the counter was really pushy that I had to have two sausages costing an extra $3 for the sausage.
Not only was she pushy, she did that to the rest, so you have to be firm with her and give her FIRM instructions what you want only!

It makes me wonder if there are less customers at this location if they are being pushy because at the CWB shop they were much nicer.

Hot dog:

The usual sweet bun with gritty sausages and sloppy melted cheese.
Not my cup of tea, especially the sweet bun with savoury frankfurters.

Although this review is a bit late, but I saw a bakery shop still selling Christmas cakes in January so I guess its still legit to talk about Christmas!
Anyway, had a gathering and Ivy brought out this huge gingerbread man for us to share!
As it was really big, we had to break it up.

The gingerbread man was quite hard and needed immense force to break it and eat it!
