Egg and mayonnaise sandwich:
My favourite simple toasted sandwich which contains egg and tomato.
There was lots of mayonnaise in it and the egg was lovely and creamy.
The egg yolk was hard boiled and mushed so it mixed nicely with the mayonnaise giving a lovely starchy texture, while the tomato was refreshing.
Although this sandwich was delicious I felt thirsty after eating it.

Egg tarts:
Egg tarts from Hoixe again!
Again the base of the tart is very floppy and the filling is very runny so I refrigerated them.
After they were refrigerated they tasted much nicer, the filling was not so sweet and egg and the tart base was hard.

Salty lemon and seared salmon:
Went back for more salad and ordered the Salty lemon and seared salmon because it has lovely crispy seaweed in it.
There was not enough dressing so I asked for more.
(Luckily I dined there...)
After adding the dressing the salad came back alive and tasted great and tangy.
The salad leaves were crisp and the salmon was tender.




The salad itself was presented really nice that it almost looks like a product shot.
There is an extra 10% service for dining there.

I did not know there was a taste difference between the whole Juchheim slice version and the smaller size which were pieces of Juchheim rolls cut and bagged.

Juchheim roll:
Before I opened the bag, I could already smell the roll.
after opening it I broke a piece off because I was too lazy to get a knife, hence the rough looking edges!
The taste of the roll was lovely and soft, with crisp sugar granules lightly dusted on the outer layers of the cake.
The eggyness was quite strong.

Got this really cute pie from GREAT, it was basically a pie with an egg cracked on the surface and baked.
The egg yolk was still runny.
The pie was really delicious because the egg white and the pastry tasted nice together and the herbs sprinkled on top.

I picked out the bacon because I did not like the bacon so I am looking forward to an egg and spinach pie in future if they make that.
The egg yolk was tricky to eat but after bursting it the thick yolk and egg white tasted delicious with the flakey buttery pie pastry.

Corned beef and sauerkraut in Rye bun:

Got this bun because of the corned beef but when I took a look inside I realised it was American corned beef so was a bit disappointed.


However the rest of the bun tasted nice and the corned beef just tasted like meatier ham balanced out by the mustard and sauerkraut in the bun.
The cheese in the bun made it slightly heavy and the cheese overpowered the sauerkraut.
After eating the bun I felt quite thirsty.

The name of this bread looked interesting because it was called the BLACK PEARL.




There was no indication on whether it was sweet or savoury but by the labelling I am guessing it was sweet because it was charcoal bread filled with black glutinous rice and mochi.
It was black and round.

BLACK PEARL:
The filling in the charcoal bread was not that even because on the first bite it was mainly glutinous rice.

Towards the middle, there was less glutinous rice and more mochi.
The taste of this was quite nice because the bread itself was not too sweet and it was filled with chewy mochi and glutinous rice which gave it more depth.
The taste of the glutinous rice was quite strong which gives the bread most of its flavour along with its sweetness.
