If you're a regular at Lab Made, you should know that the icecreams are normally priced at $44 or $39.

For Halloween, the magic number is $31 to coincide with the date 31st!!

There are four flavours:
A - Muddy Graveyard (Evolution) (chocolate and peanut)
B - Bloody Tears (white chocolate with almond and shredded coconut)
C - Worm Grabber (mixed berries cheesecake)
D - Mummy Mocha (illy bean mocha)



I went for the Muddy Graveyard and Bloody Tears.
The presentation of the Bloody Tears was bloody creepy, just the thing for Halloween!

I liked the subtle sweetness of the white chocolate icecream with pieces of almond that gave it a crunch every now and then while the sauce was refreshing.
Next was the Muddy Graveyard which was a strong chocolate concoction mixed with delicious peanut butter that was velvety and nutty without being too sweet.

I didn't feel like eating meat that day so just ordered the vegetable rice.

Vegetable rice:
The vegetable rice had a nice sesame oil smell to it and the taste of the rice and vegetables were fresh without being too oily.

After adding chili bean sauce to it, the rice was even more delicious with the extra spicy and salty kick to the rice.

Sausage and crab pizza:

As you can see, it is loaded with frankfurter slices and crab sticks!!
It is also conveniently sliced into four slices.
Overall it was quite nice and there were so many frankfurter slices and crabsticks that it really fills you up.
The pizza base was good too, it was soft and thick, definitely a bargain for $20!!

The pies were sold out again so I had Fish and Chips, a battered oyster and my favourite sausage.

They ran out of forks so I had to eat the fish with my hands, but luckily the batter held the fish together and it was light and crispy.
The fish was flakey and adding salt and vinegar made it taste even better.

The beer batter oyster was good too.

The star was my favourite pork sausage which was as equally as good as the fish but these pork sausages are so delicious.
Next time I am going to order the sausage in batter.

To finish of I had a fragrant Earl Grey tea which was really nice.

They have two types of teas so make sure you order the tea bag one if you don't like Hong Kong style tea.

Discovered this place randomly because I got the ferry from TST to Central.
On my way out discovered this joint.
Prices are quite reasonable so I will be back for more and try their pies.

Fish bites:

Chips were nice and crispy with fluffy centre and the batter had a nice golden coating with flakey fish inside.

I love these new Sanrio series featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kerokerokeroppi and Pom Pom Purin which cost $32 each.

Hello Kitty and My Melody are obviously the most popular ones.

All four cups are fruit shaped with Hello Kitty as an apple, My Melody as a cherry, Kerokerokeroppi as a watermelon and Pom Pom Purin as a satsuma!

They are so cute when you put them together!

Milk pudding with pineapple jelly.

This was my favourite with chunks of pineapple.

Not really a fan of Chinese food but the food here impressed me and there were expats dining here which was reassuring.

1. 龍圖老火湯

Soup is a must in every Chinese meal.
It was not oily with a nice meaty taste, however the soup temperature could have been hotter.

Salted vegetables and clams:
2. 咸菜胡椒浸花甲

The clams were fresh and they were cooked in a broth with preserved salted vegetables which flavoured the clams nicely.
At the bottom, there were delicious glass noodles which absorbed the broth.

3. 籠仔荷葉蒸花蚧糯米飯

Glutinous rice steamed with crab.
The glutinous rice was the highlight of the dinner because it was chewy but the grains of rice were distinct mixed with delicious sweet soy sauce.

4. 百花馬友蝦膠煎肉餅

These meat patties were delicious because they were crispy and salty mixed with minced prawns, fish and pork.

Sweet and sour pork

A classic dish that is served in China town that everybody likes.
The crispy pork was coated in sweet and sour sauce.

The smell at first was very overpowering but the taste was really good because the sauce was creamy with mushrooms and bacon in it

These fried crispy whitebaits were extremely crunchy and crispy with a delicate fish taste.

This dish was creative because it was stir fried diced dried oysters and diced mushrooms which were great with lettuce wraps or rice.

Chicken in two ways:

I liked the plain chicken because the texture was springy and it had a natrual and strong chicken taste.

The vegetables were deliciously drenched in fish soup.
