Discovered this shop because the shop was bright yellow.
At first I was not going to bother and have a look because I don't really eat fishballs but had a look anyway and saw that they had other stuff as well as fish balls.

The preserved sausages caught my eye and it was really cool that I could order one on its own because normally you have to go to a roast shop or a stir fried glutinous rice specialist for it.
They just looked delicious because the preserved liver sausage had a dark even burgundy colour which means there is not much fat.
I was a bit shocked because it was sooooooooooooooo delicious and it only cost me $8 with velvety liver inside but it was a bit too sweet, but then it would be sweet because I had it on its own.
I regretted not trying the other sausage but they were sold out when I went back.

Got the cherry cup because I like cherries and yoghurt.

cherry yoghurt cup:

The yoghurt cup turned out to be sweeter than I expected because the yoghurt was sweet and there were white chocolate shavings on top.
I liked the cherries at the bottom and the small layer of soft chocolate sponge in the middle which tasted good.

I am not a fan of Matcha or Kyoto but tried this place because it was new.
There were quite a lot of choices for Matcha fans.
According to the staff, there is a shop in Japan.

I needed a plastic bag but I was told it costs 50 cents, but in the end they gave it to me because it was for food.
To be honest I don't know if the plastic bag policy applies to bakery.

Kyoto matcha bread stuffed with matcha paste:


The matcha paste was not that strong and very sweet and the bun texture tasted like local buns so that was a bit disappointing.

Kyoto matcha strawberry bread:

The strawberry bread had a similar taste and again the texture was like local bread so I didn't like it and there was an artifical strawberry aroma.
There was white paste in the middle which I havent a clue what it was but it was very sweet.

Overall, it tasted ok but lacked a fragrant and strong matcha taste.

Tried the new Minced cutlet curry, which is basically a minced steak that is coated in cutlet crumbs, deep fried served with curry sauce.
The minced cutlet was quite nice, the meat was finely minced with a fragrant beef smell and had a pleasant meat taste but the let down was the frying oil because it made the cutlet taste a bit rancid which is unnoticeable when you eat it with the curry sauce.

A few months ago saw the Earl Grey chocolate chip icecream on Godiva’s menu but the price was covered because it wasn’t available yet and Godiva HK didn’t know when it would be launched because I contacted their HQ in April 2015.

Happened to see this flavour available when I walked past in July so I bought one.

The Earl Grey chocolate chip flavour was the best compared to the other tub flavours that I have tried in the Godiva range because it was not that sweet.

There was a natural Earl Grey flavour and the chocolate icecream was not that overwhelming with delicious pieces of heart shaped chocolate chips found in all Godiva’s tub icecreams.

Just felt like eating some veggies so went to Snack Express.

It was late that evening so the ladies there were better tempered as there were no customers.

There was lots of lettuce but the fish broth was rather bland hence the lettuce was tasteless.

The dumplings looked the same as the product shot but the dumpling skin was too thick and it had a strong chive taste.
