Came here again for roast chicken.
On this visit, it was not that good because the chicken was not that fresh and the chicken was not plucked properly.
From the plate, there are two different chickens which you can tell by taste.

Got a softserve from this place and as they have just opened the queue was chaotic but luckily the guy infront of me told the counter staff that I was queuing after him.
The softserve was nice and creamy with pieces of green tea jelly cubes and warabi mochi which were not too sweet with a light green tea taste.

Took a friend here for her birthday because of the cute dessert gimmick and I was glad she liked it.
Basically, it is shaved ice served in a cute way.
You get to choose different sauces and the strawberry would look quite bloody pouring it on the shaved ice!
We chose the green tea which was quite good because it is not too sweet.

It is sad that there is only one Indian restaurant in Quarry
Bay and the whole world goes there.

Tried the Indian bento which features a few different curries
and rice.

It is quite a good deal but you are rushed for lunch and the
place is noisy.

Tried the fried rice which is a really good, very tasty and
similar to Chinese fried rice but better.

There was not much on offer for lunch so I went for the
vegetarian curry which was called Carribeanian Style veggie curry with rice.
I wonder if the spelling was deliberate because it was in Chinese it is mixed bean curry.

In the box I found some green beans and pineapples, the pineapples were obviously going to be there because pineapples are associated with anything tropical like Hawaii and the Caribbean.

Anyway, there was a good mix of chickpeas and kidney beans but the curry was too salty and not authentic Caribbean.

I was a bit disappointed with this place because the food was localized.
The seating and environment was relaxing though because there were not many customers.

The famous tomato broth soup was sweet and it had Chinese Shanghai vegetables in it which Japan doesn't have.
The cucumber salad was so bitter that it tasted like bitter melon.


The fried squid was rubbery and taste was far worse than the fried squid that you can buy at local street stalls.


The dessert was miserable because it was frozen and extremely chewy with an artificial green tea taste.

Keroppi ?!?
