This Japanese place has been here for quite a while and I was planning to go when I saw Marshy’s review because she loves Japanese food.
Went here on a Friday and it was quite busy but we got there early.

Started off with some pickles to refresh our palettes.

Then we had these huge oysters which were really big with a creamy taste and viscous bite to it.

The 3 kinds of sashimi platter was on promotion for $98 so had that as well because I love sweet prawns and salmon.

We also had this other platter with Striped jack, Half beak (needle) and Flounder sashimi.

Then we had some Sea urchin warship and Flounder fin sushi.
The flounder fin was a bit oily.

Grilled Beef:
The grilled beef was tender but the sauce was rather sweet.

Seafood stone pot:
The seafood pot was really nice, I loved the Monkfish soup base and it had big chunks of tofu in it as well as seafood.

Fresh fish joints:
The fish joints were big and grilled to perfection.

We finished off with huge grilled prawns.

I discovered this place on the way to Yours Bistro because the building looked like a really nice hotel.
Yours Milano is a nice place for gatherings because there is a lovely garden like balcony with comfortable seating inside the restaurant.
Tried the Pizza, which was surprisingly nice, because the crucial pizza base and cheese were really good.
The base was crispy and not too chewy while the cheese was tasty and strong.
We had the PIZZA YOURS MILANO 招牌米蘭薄餅 which had Mozzarella cheese, marinated chicken, olives, red onions, salami, roasted garlic, Portobellos and baby spinach.

For pasta, we had the RAVIOLI VERDI con PORCINI al TARTUFO 意式牛肝菌雲吞伴黑松露忌廉汁.
It was Triangular shaped ravioli drizzled in thick and creamy fragrant black truffle sauce filled with porcini mushroom.
I will most probably come back for the Christmas dinner which costs $388 per person.

The air con at this place is freezing cold, a great way to make customers eat quickly and go.
There was not much on the menu but the dessert selection was good because they had chocolate egg white puffs.
For noodles I had the chili hot oil beef with noodles which was extremely spicy, the beef was not that fresh so I didn’t bother eating it.

HLS have launched these coconut desserts for winter, which were surprisingly nice compared to the dessert soups launched previously.
There are three flavours: durian, sweet potato and bird’s nest.
When I ordered it, I was surprised they gave me a chilled choice because it was a winter dessert but I highly recommend the chilled one because dairy products taste better cold.
The taste was very palatable with a fragrant young coconut taste with bits of hasmar jelly and bird’s nest.
You can scrape off the delicious young coconut meat and eat it.
To me, the coconut dessert was just like a thick milkshake that you could just drink using a straw.

I have always wanted to dine here ever since I saw a photo of the green pea lasagna because I love lasagna and green peas.
The menu changes really often so you have to keep checking which is really difficult for me because I don’t know where the menu gets updated.
There is always a menu on the restaurant wall, but I find it intimidating to go there to see what is on the menu and leaving if it doesn't interest me.
Finally went here and tried the food.
They are currently doing a banquet denoted by the starred items on the menu that cost $450 per person.

Went to Quemo for dinner which is on the 5th floor of QRE plaza.

Normally when you have Iberico Ham you just eat what you are given but here you can choose and try different parts of the ham.
Different parts taste different.
Started off with Iberico Ham paired with a sharp tasting CAVA.

The ham tastes strongest nearer the bottom because of gravity which is the bit I like but most people will probably like the part just before the end where it is flavourful but not too strong.
After having the ham, we had the oysters, one was dressed in Gin foam which had a sweet aftertaste to it and makes the oyster really silky and seals in the flavour.
The other one had a stronger dressing which I liked but I personally prefer a sharper taste.
Next, we had a beautiful seabass paired with velvety mash that had pieces of green beans in it contrasted by a crunch.
There was also seasonal vegetables but I think European vegetables would pair better.
The pork terrine was different because it was pulled meat with a piece of crispy pork skin on top.
Before we had the Soupy rice, we has jelly and cream to refresh our palettes.
I love paella so I liked the soupy rice because it had my favourite red prawn where they crush the head at the end and mix it with the rice to make it taste delicious.
There were pieces of cuttlefish which adds to the strong seafood taste and you eat it with a spork so that the soup is retained on the spork.
For desserts, we finished with catalan cream, coconut and ginger mousse and the banana.
My favourite was the coconut and ginger mousse and catalan cream which was light and airy.
I hope to come again for Fideu or soupy rice
