As well as the food court downstairs, there is a gourmet walk on the first floor.
I stopped for the pork chop bun but unluckily they ran out of the buns so I was given a sesame bun, which I thought I was not going to like but surprisingly it was crispy and soft, and not like the sweet ones in HK.
The pork chop was a bit dry though.

After the bun I had the wafer icecreams sandwiches, the pina cola was artificial but the pandan one was really nice with a strong pandan taste but it was too sweet.

For drinks I finished off with a TenRen orange juice tea which was a good thirst quencher.

Went here after a party so wasn’t that hungry.

Ordered the pork knuckle and a drink but the staff wasn’t amused I only ordered one drink.

Anyway, sat on the corner so it was pretty dark to take food pictures.

The pork knuckle was as good as expected with crispy skin and it was not overly salty.

The drink was an interesting combination of tomato, orange and cucumber but it would have tasted nicer if it was freshly squeezed orange juice and not the concentrate.

My first meal at Din Tai Fung

Din Tai Fung is a really famous place for Shanghai fare in Hong Kong but I have never been before because the queues are long and the locations are not convenient.
Finally tried it in Macau and the food was really amazing.
The dumplings were taut and the fillings did not fall out when you picked them up and the fillings were fresh and delicious.

The noodles were good as well topped with minced pork, chopped tofu and edamame beans.

If you have the Studio City club card, you get a discount.

I was reluctant to dine at this restaurant because I thought it was related to the one in Hong Kong but it has nothing to do with the one in Hong Kong and the food is different.
Tried the spicy Sardine crispy roll and instant noodles with curry beef.
The instant noodles were amazing because the curry broth was really flavourful but not too spicy and the beef was soft.
The sardine crispy roll was nice because the roll was soft and crispy. It is just an average roll but it tasted far better than the crap in Hong Kong.
For drinks the coffee was surprisingly good because it was weak but probably too weak for HKers.

Chose this place because I had a meal voucher.
The curry broth was very spicy and the noodles had a strong alkaline taste.
It wasn't impressive so I don’t know why this place is so popular.

Walked past the flagship store near the ruins of Macau but as I was full I didn’t dine there but this restaurant was also at the Broadway so had it for dinner.
It was nice there was no alkaline taste but other than that they didn’t wow me.
The Jasmine tea was rather weak looking like water.
The noodles were free because I used the meal voucher from the travel agent.

These days I rarely eat in MK but went here for a gathering.
As well as the all you can order, there is a salad and dessert bar.
There was a good variety and I loved the baby scallops and Hokkaido seafood pot.

The scallops were smaller in size and not so chewy with a nice taste from its broth.

The seafood soup was not too salty with a good amount of vegetables in it.

Delicious whitebait coated in a light seaweed and flour coating.

The parma ham sushi was interesting.

The green tea noodles were good but I think they mean chilled noodles and not hot because the Chinese and English says hot.
