Went here for annual dinner and there were lots of people.
Only took a few photographs and one of the waitresses managed to spill fanta on my white fleece coat. (well done!!) .
I didn't know at the time but luckily "ICE" helped me to wipe most of it.

There was a dish I liked which looked like crispy rolls stuffed with the typical Chinese fruit salad but it was actually filled with curried meat and tasted like Findus Crispy pancakes in the UK which are now extinct.

The lobster with vermicelli was weird though, because the texture of vermicelli was slightly sweet paired with Chinese style cheese sauce.

3/3rds my favourite joint is now in Central.
I could only try them before if they had pop-up stalls at the market because WCH is too far.
They had all my favourites such as wild rice, soups which can be seen on IG.
(there's no point posting them here because you won't get the editors recommendation on openrice anymore which sucks.)

I had the Burmese chicken soup which was amazing and tastes like this Burmese joint in Sham shui po that closed down.

The cheese toastie is different here because they put spring onions and purple onions which balances the melted cheese.

The sales assistant opposite seems to like having her photo taken or she is perhaps eyeing the guy directly opposite which I didn't really see because I was too busy eating.

Went here for dessert and the waitress was an angel because she asked me if I wanted the appetizers which I didn't so she took them away, otherwise you get charged for them.
I had the milk pudding with fermented rice wine and it was like rice pudding because there was bits of rice in it.
The sweetness was just right but I didn't like the gelatin texture.

Went here to celebrate a friends birthday.
The memorable dishes that night were the rolls which were loaded with vegetables and they were triangular shaped.
The vegetarian intestines looked realistic but they were beancurd skin with a chew.
It would probably taste good with bbq sauce.

I was attracted to this restaurant because it was mysteriously called fingerprint.
One of the menus is invisible so I wonder if it needs UV light or something forensical to make it appear.

Anyway, it turns out to be Japanese and Western fusion with quite a few courses and a choice of mains for dinner which ranges from $180-$240.

For mains I chose chicken which was the cheapest and it also tasted good.

A nice sample of prawns, burdock and foie gras.

A refreshing salad with light sesame dressing topped with crabmeat.

The chicken was good, it was tender and juicy with a nice roasted skin that was flavoured nicely.

Rice and noodles:

I liked the stir fried pasta which was loaded with roe.

The soup came with the rice and the teapot design is really good because the lid is actually a bowl.

Inside was clear light broth infused with seafood.

For dessert we finished with this warabi mochi which had osmanthus flowers in it, so there was a fragrant flowerly taste to it

Went here for CNY gathering but we didn't see the beautiful lady who works here that was on the news earlier this month.
Anyway, we had a nice balanced dinner with two vegetable dishes.

The morning glory was tender and tasty.

For starters, we had satays and the platter.

The beef satays were my favourite because the beef was lean and tender.

My next favourite was the glass vermicelli with prawns because the vermicelli had a really nice prawn taste and it was not oily.

There was green curry and rice which went well together but I found the green curry quite spicy.

On the last visit, almost everything was sold out so went again during the day for more choices.
Got the sesame matcha and apple caramel.
I liked the apple caramel because it was not too sweet with chunks of crisps apple in the middle and the caramel had a nice bitter taste to it.
The matcha had a grassy tone with velvety black sesame in the middle.
