Tried Nathan Left before at TST which was pretty good, so I didn’t have any doubts about this place because it is under the same group.
For dinner, they have a flexible dinner set so you can order accordingly to suit the number of people.

As there were two of us we had 1 starter and 2 entrees for $488.
The plates and portions are quite big so it takes up quite a bit of the table.
It was hard choosing the starters because they had bruschettas, sea urchin and Scottish smoked salmon so in the end I chose Scottish smoked salmon.

Scottish smoked salmon with caviar:

As well as salmon and caviar, there were figs too.

The salmon had a nice smokey taste and saltiness.

Seafood platter:

The crab legs were huge and there were my favourite diamond clams.
I loved the prawns as well because you can see they are fresh and they said the prawns come from the market everyday.

Skewer platter:

At first, I didnt think much of these skewers but when they came, they looked like huge shish kebabs with big chunks of meat on it.
The salmon was unexpectedly good because it was moist and delicate and the beef was like juicy steak.
There was Iberico pork as well but I am not keen on pork so I think they should have a choice for people incase people don't eat certain meats.

Prices are as follows:
HK$488 (1 starter & 2 entrees)
HK$688 (2 starter & 3 entrees)
HK$988 (3 starter & 4 entrees)

The only good thing here is the self check out kiosk.
Anyway, tried the meals from the counter and the beef was dry and hard.

Jewel crushed Tabbouleh

I love Middle Eastern food especially Kebabs and Pita bread.
The shop is colourful and reminds me of the game Jewel crush.
Unfortunately I wasted my quota by eating some Chinese noodles nearby which made me queasy so I got the Tabbouleh.
I would have got the Kebabs but it is a bit difficult sitting in front of the heated grill and there isn't anywhere nearby to sit down.
The Tabbouleh costs the same as the Kebah which makes it expensive because Tabbouleh is just chopped parsley, tomatoes, onions, cumin, couscous and lemon juice.

But anyway, I loved it because it was refreshing with a strong kick of Middle Eastern spices that are not spicy.
Next time I hope to try the salmon sandwich because you don't often see this option in a Middle Eastern eatery.

The food never fails here but Pier 9 is quite a trek and there are not many seats available.
It is great here because the place is done up with comfortable seating.
Anyway, I had Fish and chips with extra gravy.

I would have wanted the gravy on the side but they put it all over the chips and it tasted great so no complaints because you could taste salt, gravy and vinegar evenly for every chip so it was damn good.
The fish was perfectly done, it had a light tempura batter with moist fish in the middle.

Music was a bit loud so it makes it difficult for people with a small voice.

This shop used to be round the corner on Spring garden lane famous for its $16 bowl of wonton noodles.

It closed down a while ago and now they are back at Cross Lane.

I was surprised to see they were back and the prices are still the same and there is still that lovely prawn smell around the area which is how I discovered this shop.
The new place is better and spacious and I hope it keeps that way because it is very clean at the moment.

One of the ladies there had excellent linguistic skills, she could speak English, Philipino and Cantonese.
Prices are still $16 for noodles and a topping.

Sauces at the table: soy sauce, vinegar, fish sauce and chili oil.

I got the flat rice noodles with wontons and the wontons are still springy and fresh.

The white fishballs were ok but I just wanted the noodles because I was craving for that weird alkaline taste.

After having the noodles, the COKE is recommended because it helps neutralize the Alkaline in the mouth and bottled coke always tastes better.

Although $16 is quite a good bargain, the couple on my table were complaining it was too expensive because they said it used to be $15.

I was early for dinner at the Satay Inn so I was just walking about when I discovered this place because of the salad bar.
As I was having dinner I only had the chocolate salami dessert which was quite nice.
It was slices chocolate with ladyfingers that looked like salami and it was not too sweet which was good.

These profiteroles tasted good but they were frozen and the chocolate sauce texture was like icecream.
The sweetness was just right with frozen cream in the middle.
It is served in a paper try, which is brown and looks edible as well.
