Got this pistachio cake from a foodie and it was so nice.
The cake looks hard and dense but it is really soft and moist that you have to slice it carefully.
Although the pistachio taste was not strong, it tasted amazing because there was a strong caramel flavour just like this caramel cake in the UK.\

Went to HLS and tried some new desserts.
I am not a fan of mango but a fan of pandan.
They had this new mango cream cheese crumble and pandan noodles.
Mango cream cheese crumble:
A nice smokey gimmick serving the dessert on dry ice with water.


Mango pandan cold noodle with ginger and brown sugar:

Tried the noodles on its own and they tasted bitter.
I was quite confused because they said the green tea powder was not mixed properly but the bitterness tasted like the type you get from soda powder.
A nice side of coconut slush which was quite sweet.

We were filmed trying three different restaurants on the good food tour organized by foodpanda and foodie.
Linguini Fini was the last stop.
The restaurant was big and spaced out.
The pizza we had was big packed with pepperoni slices and generous cheese.

Posto Pubblico was the second stop.
The restaurant was packed and noisy.
I found the pizzas here a bit too heavy for my liking and they reminded me of Deep Pan pizzas in the UK.

Grappas cella was the first stop and I really liked their pizzas because the pizza base was light and fluffy and the topping were delicious.

While Japan has the new Cantaloupe Melon and Cream Frappuccino, Hong Kong has the Key Lime Pie frap and S'mores.
I went for the Key Lime Pie frap because it was rather unusual as a drink.
It really tasted like a blended Key Lime pie with cream and crushed tart crumbs on top so I loved it.

Gut Gut Dim Sum is conveniently located on Yue On Street where there are so many minibus options to Tsuen Wan, Sai Kung etc.

It is hidden in one of the alleyways but evidently popular because there were so many people queuing to dine there.
I loved the purple LED lights.
Nice teapot.


There were many interesting dimsums to choose from.
Here was what I had:

Roast pork rice rolls:

I really liked the rice rolls because they had lots of vegetable in it as well as the roast pork.

Spare ribs and chicken feet rice:

A great invention because I always go for the rice as it is flavoured by the steamed stuff from above.

Potstickers:

The potstickers were big crammed with lots of filling in the middle.

Purple potato puffs:
These were pretty with fluffy and sweet potato in the middle.

Ordered them because because they were filled with cheese and meat and the taste was quite nice.

Chicken feet:

These were soft and tasty with a nice hint of garlic.
