The food at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong is flawless every time I go and all those awards they got are well deserved.
I have been to the brunch three times, dinner buffet once and twice to the supper buffet.

Currently, it costs $368 per person from 8-11pm Thursday - Saturday.
During the 9th-22nd of May, it will cost around $4xx because they will have some extra seafood dishes like:
typhoon shelter crab, sauteed clams in black bean sauce, spicy whelk in wine, oyster fritters with white pepper and cilantro, cuttlefish cake with salt and spices, scallops and broccoli topped with crab roe sauce, congee in lobster superior broth.

It was definitely worth going twice because all my favourite luxuries were there such as abalone, cheese, sashimi, Peking duck, Hainan chicken with rice, soba noodles.
Here was the food that I had:

The african chicken was nicely done and spicy like how it should be.
Fresh sashimi and my favourite chilled soba.
Delicious congee from the live cooking station where you can choose your ingredients and put as much as you want.

Peking duck pancake:

At the carvery counter, the vegetable selection was quite impressive because they had baked potato and purple potato.

They had edam, brie, cheddar but the cheese selection is different everyday.

Last but not least, the abalone was amazing, it has taste and texture unlike other places where they are rubbery and tasteless as the sauce is made from roast meats and Chinese wine.
To finish the dessert was also good but unfortunately I was too full but still ate two pieces of apple crumble because it was just divine.
The apple crumble has just the right level of sweetness, a good balance of apples to pastry and crumble.

I love this bakery but all their branches are remote.
This branch is only ok if you get the KCR however you have to get here early as most of the breads are sold out by 6pm.
I got the fruit loaf which was delicious and crammed with so much fruit but saying that on the second visit, there was not much fruit as the first time.

The first time I had McDonalds thick cut fries they were crap because they were soft even though I ate them as soon as I collected them from the counter.
Went to a different branch and the fries were much nicer because they were crisp with a nice fluffy centre.

Discovered this place while I was eating at McDonalds opposite.

They had a variety of muffins, some with sauces in the middle and some hot muffins served with icecream on top.
There were two that I wanted, the chocolate banana and the coffee caramel.
In the end I got the coffee caramel because having caramel sauce in the middle was more exciting than banana sauce.

The texture of the muffin was more like cake because it was not so crumbly but thats the way I like it because I don't really like American muffins.
In the middle was this delicious runny caramel sauce that oozed out and there were lots of blueberries in the muffin as well.

I was given a cute rabbit cookie which is their mascot called Muffin.

On the bar table, there are some holes which are designed for the coffee cups.


I will be back soon and hope they have some new flavours.

I love spicy food so went here because it was close to the MTR.
They had Paddlefish on the menu which I have never seen before and I didn't even know you could eat that and whether it is a protected fish.
Hopefully I can try this fish in future because some people might not dare to eat it.

The menu was quite extensive.

I tried the steamed lamb which was big chunks of lamb coated in flour.

The lamb was a bit gamey.
For the other dish, I had stir fried chicken giblets with pickled pepper.
It could have been spicier but it was bloody good because there were generous slices of silky chicken liver paired with fragrant grassy Chinese celery.

Chinese celery is good for you to because it is known to reduce cholesterol which is useful after eating so much chicken liver!!!!!
