After a month of voting, Burgeroom was awarded the Best Western restaurant, Best restaurant in WanChai/CWB and The Prestigious restaurant award.

Went there the next day.
I was intending to have a burger but ended up having the all day breakfast as it was new.

The breakfast looked just like the product shot with a portobello mushroom, fluffy scrambled egg, tomato slices, salad, sausage, bacon and tater tots.

It was really filling and delicious.
Next was the fries and guacamole.

This was amazing because the creamy guacamole was great with the fries and there was a cheesy sauce on it too giving it more flavour.

The chicken drumsticks were huge and great for sharing.

For drinks, the green tea latte was a good option on a hot day.

The tea was a must for me because it was strong so it helped refresh my palette after eating some fried stuff.

Thanks to Ivy for getting me these cookies.
I didn't realize they were my favourite Earl grey until I ate them.
The earl grey flavour was strong complimented by the buttery taste and it is good that Kee Wah has a modern cookie selection.

I got to try these delights from Hutong because they were served on the aqualuna.
These
were my favourites.
The vegetarian dumplings were delicious because it was tasty filled with glass vermicelli, spinach and carrots.
The beancurd skin rolls were also good but on the sweet side.

The skewers here are really good that I often forget how rude the staff are.
Went here after the Chinese New Year to get a skewer of octopus.

I asked the lady how much it costs for a specific part of the octopus and she laughed and answered $1xx because she misunderstood and thought I wanted a whole tentacle.
I tried to explain I wanted a specific part and she told me to go away as I was in her way and stopping her from getting more business.
WTF.

Years ago you wouldn't find sushi in Choi Hung because you would have to go to the city for it.
Choi Hung used to be really old fashioned but all that has changed with modern joints like Subway, 759, McDonalds and Sushi Express.
Went here for lunch.


The tea and soy sauce are self-service.
Wasabi comes in sachets but I don't know if they charge you if you use more than one because there was only one sachet on my table.
As I was dining there, it made sense to go for items that could not be found at the takeout joints like flame grilled salmon sushi and other stuff.

Here was some of what I had:
The chocolate mousse cake was really good, the soft mousse on top was silky with a strong chocolate taste.

This is one of my favourites so I had that as well because I love the saltiness of the fish roe with the cucumber and sushi rice.

The service charge being charged was a bit weird since drinks and food etc are self service.
The only service you get is when they take you to your seat and when they count how many plates you had!

Recently saw this new Spirit of summer yoghurt collection and all of the flavours were captivating.
In the end, I got the Mississipi chocolate mud pie which was delicious as expected.
I loved the tart yoghurt taste with bits of sweet chocolate in it.
After having the delicious yoghurt, I had a cup of tea as well.

It was rainy day so randomly went here.
The menu is the same as the CWB branch.
The flat rice noodles were tasteless but there is fish sauce to make it tastier.
The squid and octopus tentacles were chewy but again tasteless.


Salty Seaweed soup.

The yellow noodles were basically Japanese ramen noodles so I didn't like it and the satay sauce was too sweet.

The noodles are a bit overpriced for that quality.
