Dessert Kaffee is famous for desserts but their pastas are also good.
Tried the wild mushroom asparagus linguine which was a good vegetarian pasta mixed with fragrant olives with lots of tender young asparagus.

The squid ink pasta with prawns was even better because the taste was strong but a tad too salty.

For drinks had the grapefruit soda which tasted more like Japanese yuzu.
The Holy pineapple was fun to drink because it was refreshing cold slushy pineapple juice served in a pineapple.

If you're looking for a quiet afternoon, this is the place to go on a Saturday afternoon because restaurants in WC are quiet as all the office people are off.
Previously this spot used to be Khana Khazana but not anymore and Sun Thai Restaurant used to be at W Square which was quite a trek from the MTR.

Had the stir fried glass vermicelli which came with a drink and the baked bread with curry and soft shell crab.

This was my favourite because I love bread, the curry sauce in the middle was light with fine egg strands in it that was great for dipping the bread.
The soft shell crab was ok but a bit over fried for my liking.

Salted lemon soda:

This was basically sprite with half a salted lemon added to it.
It is a weird drink but I like the saltiness.

I have always wanted to try this place because they serve sandwiches.

Finally went one afternoon and had the vegetable sandwich and the BLT.
My favourite was the vegetarian because there was grilled mushrooms, cucumbers and tomato which was light and healthy.
The BLT was also good, the bacon was crispy and lean smothered in a fragrant truffle mayonnaise.

For drinks I had this fragrant strawberry tea and Earl grey tea.


My friend had the passionfruit lime soda which was made with real fruit.

For breakfast, they also have muffins which are moist and rich with a lovely chocolate taste that is not too sweet.

Since my last visit, there are some new dishes but they still have the chocolate oysters

At every table, there are condiments and they have my favourite grounded cumin.

I went for the new instant noodles with cheese.
There is a black truffle and a crushed garlic version.

The noodles were really good because they were very cheesy but they clumped together.

The luncheon ham bites were just as good as before and I put lots of cumin on it because I love cumin.

For the rest of the food, I ordered spicy stuff which came baked in foil.
The bone marrow was the spiciest and it had an interesting soft elastic texture.

The squid was rather chewy.

The fish was soft drenched in satay sauce.
(I wish there was a bowl of rice to go with it).

The best spicy dish were the frogs legs, there were so many of them and the meat was like tender chicken and the spicyness was just right.

Tai Kok Tsui is remotely located which is why it was not my priority list to go.

It was really hard deciding which burgers to get because all of them were good.
They had Chinese burgers with Chinese toppings, Stylish burgers which are inspired by different countries and soy sauce burgers that I have to try next time.
The toppings were really good because they had blue cheese as well.

I ordered the Singapore Hainan chicken riceburger and the Tandoori masala chicken burger.
While I was waiting for the burgers, I had a cup of Chinese tea.

The Hainan chicken burger was just amazing because I love rice and the rice patty on top was firm which went well with the juicy chicken and the bottom rice patty was more flavourful because it was covered in Hainan chicken gravy.

The Tandoori masala chicken burger didn't taste Indian because there was a strong cajun and oregano taste but it still tasted great.

It was impressive they dressed it with yoghurt sauce because Indian dishes are normally paired with yoghurt.
The chicken was juicy with a nice crispy cajun coating.

The tandoori burger is a great concept and I think having tandoori chicken filling with yoghurt sauce would also taste good (similar to an English coronation chicken sandwich).

Unfortunately, I have to return to Taikoktsui again for more yummy burgers because they are that good.

Tried the new burger which is called The Curly Pig!
The patty is made with Mangalica pork, ground fennel, garlic, ginger, and onion.
Served with lemon dressed mizuna leaves, crispy pancetta, apple slaw & pickled fennel.
Available from now until July 3rd!

It was quite enjoyable because the burger was not greasy and the patty was moist with a crisp surface complimented by the slaw.
I also had the Heirloom tomato salad which was a colourful mix of different Heirloom tomatoes.

For dessert, I had my favourite cookie skillet with thick cream.

This is classic and delicious because the cookie is soft and chewy with a slight crunch balanced by the thickest and heaviest cream you can find on earth!!

The banoffee pie was a bit too heavy for me but the popping candy on top helped to balance the heavy cream.
