To be honest I went here because I saw pictures of some appetizer served in an ice crystal.

The views are ok but Hong Kong buildings are constantly under construction.

Started with the duo of crab which was served in a stunning ice crystal.
The crab was sweet complimented by the buttery avocado and tropical fruits.

Then we had the red prawn carpaccio and the taste of red prawns never fail.
It had a nice briny taste with a hint of lemon and olive oil.

One of the mains was the French duck Magret and it was very meaty and tasted like beef.

The homemade Kamut wheat spaghetti was really good because the sauce was rich and the spaghetti was healthy with lots wheat in it that gave it an interesting texture.

The New Zealand lamb shank was guaranteed to be soft as it was cooked using the sous vide method.

Went here because I love cats.
There is a minimum charge and the charges are listed clearly on the menu.

Each person is provided a bag to put their bag in so that cats can't scratch them.

Cats at the Cafe.
The food there was ok especially the fries with cheese and bacon, the fries were perfectly done.

The green tea latte was grassy and not too sweet.

The only improvement would be the cutlery because they were not that clean when they were given to me.

鍋居火鍋專門店 is a famous hotpot restaurant in Shamshuipo visited by many celebrities in Hong Kong.

This time they had this Japanese style Genmaicha Oolong tea and Kombu broth which is made with TEA and I love TEA!~

The broth was good with anything you put in.

Here were some of the items we had.
The white slices below are a very rare tendon which has a crispy springy texture when cooked.

My favourite oysters which are HUGE!

Beef:

I didn't really need to dip any sauces because they tasted great after being blanched in the tea broth.

The broth was so nice that I had three bowls of it as soup.

As well as the hotpot, they had these black pepper maltose chicken wings which are so delicious that we had three plates.
They were crispy with a really nice sweetness that was appetizing.

Definitely coming back again for the new broth and chicken wings.

Issaya Siamese Club is a great place to go for lunch because they serve Thai food in a modern Western environment.

The lunch deal is good because the starters and dessert are buffet style with a choice of mains from the menu.

The starter was amazing and the choice was different because they had some really local Thai ingredients such as Banana stem leaves and other goodies.

There are two soups, one with meat and one vegetarian to cater for vegetarians.

I am not a vegetarian but I liked the vegetarian one more.

Prices are different according to the mains you choose.
The lobster had a fluffy baked egg topping and the lobster was fresh and springy.

The yellow curry was quite sweet and the colour was a bit dark compared to other yellow curries.
It came with pickled watermelon which was quite refreshing.

The beef curry was really good because the beef cheeks were soft and gelatinous.

Both curries were paired with mushroom rice which was really healthy as it contained barley and red rice.

Desserts were annoyingly good but my favourite was the icecream and the green glutinous rice flakes.

The Thai tea macarons had a really strong tea taste.

For drinks I had the pandan cooler with elderflower.
