This is the second Chop House in HK, the first branch is in CWB.
The TST branch has a lovely alfresco area and it is right above Knutsford Terrace where the new entrance will be when it is finished.
That night we dined inside.
For drinks we began with Rosé Sangria which was surprisingly nice for someone who does not like alcohol because the lychees and fruits tasted strong than than the alcohol.

We had the Chop Chop Salad with Grilled Prawns.
It was crisp sweet leaves with springy prawns.

Then we has crispy calamari which came with a lovely dip and fresh lemon.
The calamari was crispy and not too salty.

For the mains, we had the Slow Roasted Chicken & Smoked U.S. Baby Back Ribs.
It was a nice dish to share and the side of coleslaw was great.

We also had the Crispy Skin Salmon where the salmon was grilled just right with a delicate pink colour in the middle.

Garlic Prawns with Saffron Rice:
This was my favourite because I love rice and the Saffron flavouring was not strong.

For dessert we finished with The Chop House Baileys Cheesecake and the Chocolate fudge cake.
The fudge cake is best eaten hot when it is soft and scrumptious.

There are other dishes that I would recommend like the quesadillas, greasy cheese and ham sandwiche and the Berkshire pork.

Went here for baked potatoes but they didn't have sour cream so I ordered the baked potato with salmon.Unfortunately, they put salad cream on it which was disgusting and does not match.
Had it been kewpie mayonnaise it might have been more forgivable but definitely not salad cream.
The salmon was a bit fishy as well and the potato was not fluffy in the middle.Perhaps I should have ordered the weird croissant with purple mash and apples.

It's been a while!
I used to go to this restaurant frequently that I had this VIP card many years ago that it has turned yellow.
Veggie Family is a famous vegetarian restaurant that has been opened since 2001.

The logo is slightly different and more modern and there is so much variety on the menu with a healthier less artificial twist.
There is English on the menu which is helpful and the new seating is much more comfortable.

Here was what I ordered:
It was so good they had these noodles because I love these noodles.
The vegetarian version is so much healthier since it is not drenched in meat oils after steaming.


The Sichuan dish was delicious and flavourful especially the monkey head mushrooms which are so tasty and meaty in texture.

The fermented beancurd noodles were great but I would have loved the fermented beancurd to be stronger.


The vegetarian sharks fin looked a bit different from the picture but I love the beanshoots and pinenuts because the pinenuts gave it a lovely nutty taste while the beanshoots made the dish appetizing because the beanshoots were juicy.


I can't wait to come back again because there are so many other dishes I want to try and the new menu has so much to offer other than sweet and sour taro fish!!

Conveniently located opposite the Tin Hau MTR, this place offers a quiet place for buffet away from the crowd.

The buffet area is tiny but sufficient for my appetite because they have seafood, cheese and hams.
At the moment, they are doing Sherry and Port wine pairings with the cheese and hams at no extra cost.


For other wines, it is also free flow at an extra cost.

The grilled oyster and lamb racks were surprisingly good because the sauce was not too sweet and the lamb was tender and not too fat.

The sashimi glass cabinet has sliding glass doors so it nice and hygienic.




The foie gras was served on wheat toast which made it less guilty to eat.
