I didn't realize that the risotto nero di seppia was only available for the afternoon tea.

Went one afternoon and had it.
The deal was quite reasonable because it was only $38, no service charge with unlimited drinks.

The squid ink risotto was quite good and tasty.
For drinks, there is a good variety.

Went here for tea but unfortunately I didn't look at the menu close enough to see that it was fishcake and not fish burger.
It was basically a Japanese style fish cake which is sweet and rubbery so not my cup of tea.
The bun was nice and crispy though.
Other stuff that I had which are not really worth mentioning.

Went here again food, this time I had the fish fingers roll.
The fish was how it should be ie chunky and flaky with a good fishy taste to it but the bread was a bit disappointing though because it was cold.

I never go to QB or Taikoo because food is always shit and the prices are way overpriced which I would rather pay dining in West Hong Kong.
It is weird that No 7 Tasty Channel is listed on openrice as well as the other shops listed individually.

It is on the second floor so two flights of stairs up.
The decor was really good and that's it.
Basically you choose what you want from the menu, pay for it at the cashier and collect it from the relevant joint.
I felt that it was Quarry Bay prices except for the fish noodle stall that used to be in Tai Kok tsui.

Hopefully, they will have some other new stalls like Indian, English, Italian and vegetarian because the current choices are a bit too local for my liking.

Went here on a week day because they have some great sets for lunch.

I had the Thali which was a slight fusion with the West but it was nice.
There was a tangy tomato spaghetti, a refreshing salad, chips and my favourite pakoras.

At Arcane, they were serving some black truffle dishes with black truffle from Australia's The Truffle wine and company.
Had the grilled green asparagus with potato, fresh , mayonnaise, hazelnut dressing.
This dish had a lovely nutty flavour enhanced by the fragrant black truffle.

The other dish I had was Sautéed potato gnocchi, cep puree, charred cevenne onion, mushroom ragout, parmesan.

I used to dine at La Piazzetta in Wanchai for tortellini and gnocchi but it closed down.
Discovered this branch after walking through an alley and saw the Chef standing outside.

The reviews seem to say that the customer service is bad.
On my visit, it was ok but they switched off the lights an hour before the closing time so I got the hint to go as they gave the bill in advance for me settle it.
Anyway, other than that, the service was really friendly and the food was good even though the head chef was not there that day.
I had the cuttlefish in ink which was really delicious with the bread given and it is slightly spicy to make it more appetizing.
