Tried this restaurant when they were at Ashley Road and it was great.
The new location is better and bigger.


Went here for lunch and the sets were really good because it had most of the choices I wanted and it includes soup and rice.

Started with sweet corn soup which was light and appetizing.

Next came the appetizers which were the preserved eggs and vegetables.

The preserved eggs were amazing because the texture was really soft like jelly and it wasn't spicy.
Then came these rare vegetables which I had to try because they were fiddlehead ferns in chili oil.
They were really nice but spicy and they had this strange banana taste to it.

For the mains, had the gung pao prawns which were really springy with a slight spicy kick to it.

The eel dish was spicier and interesting because there were brown noodles which absorbs the delicious sauce.

As well as lunch, we had some extra soup and crispy beancurd topped with black bean and garlic paste.
Both were great but the lunch set is a really good option if you can't make up your mind.
Refreshing lime soda that I had:

Cute but fiery baby lotus roots which have been marinated in chili juice.

Went here because they had the blackfoot abalone.
The blackfoot abalone has a black appearance and it comes from New Zealand.

They slice it thinly and blanch it in soup with spring onions.
The texture was really similar to squid slices.
As well as abalone, we had deep fried tofu rolls and garlic cucumber for starters.
The tofu rolls were crispy but I felt that there was no need for the batter coating.

The pork and okra in black bean sauce was really good because black bean sauce is always tasty and the pork slices were tender and lean.

The fried rice looked oily but it was quite nice.

The tofu pot with sea cucumber was a bit too sweet for my liking.

For dessert, we had red date pudding which was sweet and sticky!

This must be the cheapest weekday tea set you can get and it includes two drinks as well.
I thought it was a new promotion but according to their Facebook, they had it last year but some of the items were different.
The current tea set features green tea gelato, custard croissants, sandwiches etc.

I really liked the set because I liked most of the items and they were not too heavy or sweet.

As well as the tea set, we had other stuff as well.
Tried the new green tea cheesecake which comes in different sizes.

It was quite rich with a good balance of green tea flavour to it.

My other favourite was the croissant because it was filled with thickly sliced luncheon ham and scrambled egg.



The Earl Grey cake was my favourite because I just love Earl Grey.

I wasn't quite sure about this place but after checking out the pictures on Openrice, I decided to come here for pizza because the pizza base is extremely thin.
Started off with drinks, the apple yoghurt was quite sweet, the pina colada was refreshing and the strawberry lounge turned out the best with a layer of crushed strawberries at the bottom.

For food, we got the fish burger and pizza.
I wanted the vegetarian pizza which had cauliflower but it was sold out so I got the parma ham pizza.
The fish burger was quite good because it was served in a black bun with a big piece of fish fillet.
As expected, the pizza was good because the pizza base was thin and the tomato sauce was strong.

Came here a while ago for the chouxettes and now I am back for the drink.
I had the sweet potato latte which was creamy and sweet with a lovely foam cap on top.

I love the chewy cookie series at Mrs Fields Cookies.
They had a new toffee flavour so I had to try it.
It has the same texture and sweetness as the other chewy cookies but it was disappointing because there were no toffee pieces in it.
