The crispy pork chops are really nice but the quality is inconsistent as sometimes it is crispy and the other time I went it was not spicy.
To be honest, the lokfu branch is better and the hygiene here could be improved as well.

Saw these new rice balls so decided to get them.
Forgot to take a picture of the ones I ate because I just forgot~
Anyway, the rice was rather compacted and mushy otherwise it was quite good.
The roll fared better but it was flimsy because you have to unwrap it and wrap the seaweed so maki rolls are more convenient.

Went to Starbucks to try the new Teavana series.

I don't like coffee or Hibiscus so I got the grapefruit with honey.
It had a nice strong natrual grapefruit taste but the honey was a bit too sweet for my liking.
While I was waiting for my drink, I saw this tasting session list which starts at 3pm, since it was already 2:45pm I decided to try the tasting.

When I asked the guy at Starbucks, he said it doesn't have to start at 3pm.
Basically they have a new range of loose leaf teas by Teavana which they also sell as well.
I was given a sample of the citrus mint and youthberry.
The youthberry was pleasant but I didn't like the mint because it tasted like mouthwash!
The guy on the left could have asked for a tasting too instead of buying other drinks to drink at Starbucks.

I can't stand this place but they just have to come here.

Anyway, the rice rolls are just soft, mushy, sweet and oily.

The bittermelon and pork ribs were ok but there were too many brittle bones and they were quite bony so you have to be careful or you will chip your teeth.
Before you can start eating, everyone has to rinse the bowls, cups and chopsticks which defeats the purpose of them employing someone to wash the dishes or even having a dish washer.

HK style Earl Grey milk tea?

Went here for some tea and at a glance I spotted this weird HK style Earl Grey milk tea so I asked them what it was and they weren't quite sure.
I decided to stick with Teapigs to be on the safe side.
Strangely, I found two tea bags in the tea and the size I got was only the TALL size costing $26.
On the menu it says EARL GREY STRONG so I am really puzzled why they  gave me two bags!
Since I got two tea bags I asked for another cup of hot water and ended up with two cups of tea.

Got the fried radish pudding because I have never tried it.
They were uniform rectangular pieces which were fried evenly with a crisp surface and a soft centre.
The taste was ok and the oils from the bits of preserved sausages were gone from the frying process.
It got saltier towards the end after eating all the pieces so it is probably best to share it.

I always go to this branch because the service is good.

Attempted to go to the TST branch when the restaurant was 99% empty and they allocated me to share a table with someone when all the other tables were empty but at the CWB branch, they always give you good tables.

NO NEXT TIME AT TST.
TYPICAL OF KOWLOON, AKA THE DARK SIDE OF HONG KONG.

This time I chose the Japanese curry broth which was a bit too spicy for me so I will stick to the yuzu one next time.
