Queues, queues, I hate queues.

This has solved the problem partially but you still have to wait for the food.Supermarkets in HK should have more self check out tills like UK.

Anyway, if you have used the create your burger kiosk before, it is much the same.

You choose what you want and pay.


Please select "an" payment method???
I still had to wait quite a while anyway, but at least it makes you feel better without having to wait for indecisive people ordering in front of you.
The chocolate pie was quite nice filled with a hot thick chocolate paste.

It was launched before in 2009 but the size was smaller.

There is a Ryoyu Bakery Studio in MK but the dark side of Kowloon is troublesome and MOKU mall is irritating with so many stupid escalators and all that.
Thankfully, the MTR now goes to Whampoa and it is really close to the Exit.
I got the fruit bread which is so soft and yummy loaded with lots of fruit.
Also tried this new purple sweet potato which is good but not as good as the fruit one.

Saw this icecream marshmallow toast at Appolo which costs $40.
It seems quite expensive compared to their other products and it does not contain any bread/toast in it whatsoever. I didn't get it because the icecream inside is either rocky mountain or yuzu, not my favourites.
I got my usual mint chocolate icecream.
The green colour is the brightest compared to other brands but it tastes quite nice with good big pieces of chocolate in it.

Mint chocolate icecream

The taste of the mint chocolate was quite likeable, it was thick and milky.
The mint and chocolate flavour was not as strong as Appolo, Walls or Haagen Daaz.
Icecream texture was very coarse and contains a lot of icy particles but reasonable for that price and great for satisfying screaming kids who want icecream.

I was at APM because I wanted to go to AMENPAPA but that shop has packed up. Some great clothes there but one of the sales assistant was a right biatch.

On the way to the MTR discovered L'Eclair de Genie so got some eclairs.
I got four:
Salted caramel, Pistachio choco, praline cacahuetes and matcha which is exclusive at APM.

Personally I would not choose matcha because it is such a Hong Kong flavour and I can understand why it is exclusive in Kowloon because it is mostly the Chinese crowd.

Anyway, she really recommended it so I got.

I also got the raspberry and basil tea which tasted like thick raspberry puree infused with tea.

Salted caramel:
This was my favourite and it was fairly inexpensive as well and you can really taste the salted caramel.

Pistachio choco:

My next favourite with crumbled pistachio chocolates on top.

This one was really rich with lots of peanuts on top.

matcha:

Matcha was light and not too sweet.

Found out from openrice that there was a new purple potato cheese quarter at Guschlbauer so decided to get it.

Since it has not been officially launched, you have to spend over $100 on bakery and then you can get it for $30.

Went there the next day but most of the bakery was sold out so went again a day later and there so many choices.

Before we talk about the star of the show, the European selection was impressive and bigger at this branch and you can order drinks and dine there too.

Apple and cinnamon bread:

The ones I picked were the Baby avocado (bun filled with creamy avocado).

It was really good because the avocado was moist and rich like butter and there a hint of green tea in it because there is green tea in it as well.The mint oreo chocolate is another must for me because I just love it.
You could smell the mint as well as taste it.


Other bakery products that they do:
Last but not least, the delicious sweet potato cheese quarter!!

This was amazing, it was pretty because the black and purple looks visually good and it tasted divine.

There was so much cream cheese in the five layers with pieces of real sweet potato in it too.

The best thing was that it was not too sweet but it is quite fattening because of the cream cheese

So far I think this is the best flavour in the cheese quarter series.
Will try the melon soon.
