I was attracted here by the Singapore pancake filled with durian (basically a thin crispy crepe).

The pancake was quite nice because I just love durian.

After eating the pancake, I discovered that Home's Favourite is a brand from Singapore which had been awarded various awards in SG.

They sell Singaporean snacks too.


As well as these snacks, they specialise in cookies that are made with vegetable oil except for two flavours.



As I was waiting for my friend, I decided to try the durian softserve and calamansi drink.

The softserve was really good because the durian tasted natrual and there was some savoriness to it.

The calamansi drink was disappointing though because it tasted like artificial lemon squash with a piece of calamansi and preserved plum plonked in the drink.

On the way out, I got two cans of cookies, the chicken floss crispy and the citrus peel which the older generation love as it tastes bitter.

Snowman stuffed with cream

Thanks to Ivy for getting me and my friend this snowman bun.This was my friend's one as I was too lazy to take a picture of mine because I just decapitated it and ate the head first.
It tasted surprisingly good because the bun was good and the cream was fluffy.Anyway, here is a picture of my decapitated snowman's head.

To be honest, I am not a fan of Taiwanese dishes or Korean dishes but went here because they had these dishes with a savoury souffle topping.

The savoury souffle topping is not new, they have it at Megan's Kitchen for the souffle crab and tomato hotpot broth but as I am not a fan of hotpots I didn't try it.

I had to choose my dishes carefully because most of them contain kimchi.

In the end, this is what I had:

Coffee:

I can't quite work out why it is called Hand Made coffee but anyway it was just a jug of coffee that you pour onto the candyfloss.
Next was the curry bubbly which was just fried rice topped with savoury souffle.
The rice was a bit hard and tasteless.

The next dish was an interesting fusion of Korean rice cakes and dumplings but it was spicy which was not stated on the menu. (laced with Korean spices).

The toast had a stunning presentation but again there was a really spicy sauce at the bottom and I wish they didn't serve with local bread because it has a strange texture.

Anyway, it was nice how they skillfully put the egg yolk in the middle of the souffle.

Just a few weeks ago I tried the sweet purple potato cheese quarter bun and now they have launched a seasonal strawberry and cheese quarter bun for December.

The strawberry flavour is equally as good as the purple potato because the strawberry tastes natural.

The soft fluffy bun goes deliciously well with the strawberry cream cheese.

I also had the broccoli and cheese bun. It was lovely how the broccoli is mixed in the dough and the cheese is topped on top of the bun as well as pieces of extra cheese in the bun.

For sweet treats I had the matcha mousse cake which was light and not too sweet filled with red beans in the centre.

My colleagues had the black truffle mushroom bun and the stringy mozzarella charcoal bacon bun for lunch.

Both were filling and delicious but there is also salad to choose from as well.
