It was a damn hot day today so I had to get something cold to cool myself down.
Got the purple potato smoothie which was $58, so it was quite pricey.
LUCKILY, it was good otherwise it would have been a waste of money.
It was literally purple potato blended with ice sweetened with coconut sugar so the sweetness was quite natrual.
THANKFULLY it was not too sweet either.

Went here again for the minced beef with raw egg.
It looked convincing but I got lots of vegetable stems in it instead of courgettes which I saw on other photos so I think they just throw in what they have in the kitchen.
In terms of taste it was really good because it was just vegetables in gravy.
I also had the savory almond soup which was quite good because you can finally have it served in a savoury way but there was still a bit of sweetness in it which made it taste weird.

As well as the savoury CNY puddings which are delicious.The sweet coconut and walnut one is just as good.
The black sugar, walnut and coconut milk CNY pudding was very interesting because it tasted like those Chinese coconut sweets.Again it had that usual sticky and chewy texture.

After trying the savoury Taro pudding at the TST opening I was hooked.
I love this  Matsutake and taro pudding.

It has a strong five spice powder aroma with a starchy texture.

There are chunks of taro, Matsutake and carrots in it.

A great  Chinese radish pudding because it has lots of Chinese radish and morel mushrooms.

The cross section is so pretty when you slice it.


It tasted delicious as well and natrual because there was a good balance of radish and flour.

Yet another creative way of presenting CNY puddings.
The ones here are in a musical box which plays music when you wind it up.
In the box, there were a radish pudding and a sweet one.
The radish pudding was loaded with so much Chinese radish that it crumbles when you slice it but deliciously sweet because of it.
The sweet pudding was sticky and chewy.

I have always wanted to try the bagels from R&R Bagels and The Reuben was just perfect because The Butchers Club Burger are using their bagels for it.
The Reuben is loaded with corned beef and Swiss cheese, kosher sauerkraut, guerkins sprinkled with caraway seeds.
Every bite was loaded and the sauerkraut and Guerkins balanced the heaviness of the beef and cheese.
There were so many layers of Swiss Cheese.

Crispy duck fat fries

In terms of packaging, I think the packaging wins because it is gold and luxurious as a gift.
The Chinese radish pudding is loaded with so much Chinese radish that it falls apart when you slice it so I suggest freezing it beforehand so it gives a cleaner cut.Anyway, it tasted really sweet because there were so much chunky Chinese radish pieces in it and preserved sausage.
