Stopped by for some Caesar salad which was good as expected because it was dressed with proper Caesar sauce, croutons, crispy bacon and cheese.
I was still feeling hungry so got the apple galette which is more like a French apple tart.
It was absolutely delicious because the tart was crisp and chewy with a decent amount of tart apple slices.
I liked the way it was served hot and not straight from the fridge like some restaurants do.

As a cat lover went here for drinks.
The drinks menu is really good because they have fruit teas or sodas so naturally I went for the pineapple and coconut tea which was really coconutty and not too tart.

Now to the cats, because obviously I was here for the cats.
The white cat with blue eyes is obviously everyones' favourite and there is an adorable grey one.

[Review 5848] Saga beef buffet @ Mr. Steak Buffet à la minute

When Mr Steak was at Paterson Street, I used to go there frequently.
It was quite good back then offering lots of beef options before the whole of HK got their hands on all sorts of beef.
There were oysters and a good choice of seafood but all these are basics of a buffet these days because lobsters and seafood are offered almost everywhere.
It started to deteriorate when more tables were added to the point they were almost touching each other so I haven’t been back since.
Now they have moved to the WTC, I decided to go again and see if it has changed.
The buffet area is evidently bigger offering lobsters and crabs.
They are currently serving SAGA BEEF and freshly grilled seafood.
According to the SAGA website, Saga beef is esteemed as one of the best Wagyu beef brands in Japan.
The cattle used for our meats are fattened in adherence to the regulations of the Japan Agriculture Co-operative, and we use only Japanese black cattle registered with their cattle traceability system. Japan Meat Grading Association rates is a 4 or above for meat quality and has a BMS of 7 or above, and their Saga-Wagyu beef is rated between 2 and 4 for meat quality and has a BMS of 6 or below.
There were other items such as Chinese soups, drinks bars, spinning salad bowl bar so it was quite good.
What I had:
Every night people can have their messages written on plates and surprise their friends/family etc.
Customer service was quite good that night because they collected used plates and gave you new napkins regularly and even offered to help you take photos.

I was captivated by the broccoli dumpling so went in.
The staff were really friendly so you didn't feel rushed into ordering.
It was hard making up my mind because they had so many different dumplings so in the end I had spinach dumplings with prawn and squid rolls.
The other noodle was with beef brisket.
I loved the bowls and chopsticks because it was in my fave pink blush colour.
The fish skin crackers were really good and I ate them in a British way by dipping red vinegar and soy sauce like salt and vinegar.

Stopped by for some Raindrop cake because the ones here have a modern twist paired with Western ingredients such as Mint and chocolate and raspberry and rose syrup.
As well as modern raindrop cakes, they have the traditional one too with brown sugar and bean powder.
I was lucky that day because they ran out of the mint molecular balls so they made a fresh batch in front of me.
The raindrop cake was so much bigger than other ones I have tried.
It was nice with chocolate syrup and mint, something that you won't be able to try elsewhere.
The pairing of chocolate and raspberry would also be good.

Previously dined at Kale when they were in Sheungwan but now they are bigger and better at OLIV located at Sharp Street behind Times Square with gorgeous views of Happy Valley, Crowne Plaza and CWB city.
The menu has more choices than before and there are some new shakes which make it difficult to choose because they all sound delicious.
For those of you that are not familiar with KALE, Kale is a vegetable with frilly leaves that is high in beta carotene, vitamin K, vitamin C, and rich in calcium. Kale is a source of two carotenoids, lutein and zeaxanthin.
It contains sulforaphane (particularly when chopped or minced), a chemical with potent anti-cancer properties.
Kale is said to boosts DNA repair in cells and appears to block the growth of cancer cells as well as lowering cholesterol and decrease absorption of dietary fat. [citation needed]
Quoted from Wiki, so if that's all true, then KALE is a real hero for our health.
I opted for the seared Tuna salad with kale and beetroot.
It was so colourful and the colours of green, ruby red and rosy tuna went together perfectly.
Not only did it look good, the taste was wonderful, the dressing was tangy and punchy which was just the thing for Kale because it needs something strong.
The tuna was seared just right and deliciously tasty with the appetizing beetroot.
To finish off, I had the Avocuddle which is a blend of young coconut, dates and avocado.
I really liked this because it had my favourite young coconut and avocado and it was sweet, thick and delicious.
