Previously dined here during the weekends and public holidays when they are busy and rushed.

The food quality on the weekdays is better.

Ordering a la carte is advised because the set meals are not worth it.

The okra dish had a strong black bean taste but the okra was not tender.

The fish was silky but somehow it tasted like petrol.

The green tea layered cake didn't taste of green tea but it had a strong coconut taste.

It was slightly oily.

The portion for the Peking duck was surprisingly big because you get at least 20 pancakes, two plates of duck meat but the duck meat was a bit dry for my liking.

The pancakes were a little bit different because it contained sesame.

I was back for the beef sandwich but the menu has changed so had something else instead.

Started with the heirloom tomato and cheese salad which was appetizing, there was green, yellow, red and purple tomatoes.

The buffalo wings are a must because they are punchy served with moreish blue cheese sauce.

The pulled pork burger was a bit different to the ones I have had because it lacked smoky bbq sauce but then I added the sauce from the wings which made up for it.


The staff are friendly and the restaurant is spacious.

Now they are located in CWB.

Tried the squid burger in a squid ink bun which was quite good except the sauce because it was honey mustard which was too sweet.

I was quite annoyed that the set was compulsory because I don't eat the potato wedges and the drinks options are crap.

I wish they served their famous soup.

As well as delicious and healthy food, they serve Happy Cow icecream.

I had the cherry and almond which had delicious pieces of cherry in it with a strong almond flavour.
Here was the food that we had:

Deliciously steamed beancurd rolls in black bean sauce which I found a bit too sweet otherwise it was fantastic.

The omelette which is egg free is made of beancurd held together by beanshoots.

The steamed rice noodles were filling and topped with delicious pickled vegetables and minced soya.

Finished with chayote soup which was sweet and nourishing.

After eating at a restaurant nearby, went here for dessert.

The purple potato mille feulle was really good because the flaky layers were light and not too sweet.

It would be great if they had other flavours such as strawberry or custard.

The lavender Swiss roll was too overwhelming for me because the smell and taste was too strong like perfume.
The berries parfait fared better with delicious jelly at the bottom.

I missed the steak at Le Saison xxx so went here for it but when I got there the restaurant had changed to Chic by The Oyster House.

Decided to try this new place anyway.

Started with the mocktail Cuddles on the beach which was a mix of cranberry, peach, grapefruit and ginger ale.

It was quite nice but the ginger ale was a bit strong and over powered the rest.

Started with burrata caprese which was creamy.

The tomatoes were amazing because they have been peeled.
Next was the oyster vichyssoise, a smooth oyster soup with a sweet taste because of the leeks.

The creamy mussels are a must order because they serve imported chilled mussels which are top notch.

I don't normally order Carbonara but it looked delicious from the photos.
The sauce isn't too creamy as they use Italian egg yolks and their home cured pancetta gives it a nice salty flavour.

I was quite full for dessert so tried a little bit of the apple crumble and the Tiramisu.

The Baileys icecream that comes with the apple crumble is divine.

Discovered this place because of the market.
Portions are big but the taste is average.
The pork trotters were too salty and the lotus roots were old and dry.
As well as rice you can get quinoa rice for free.
