KT is a no go zone for me because it is just industrial and factory buildings.

It has slightly changed as there are some reputable buildings like AXA and AIA so the food scene has improved.

There are more Western restaurants to cater for expat tastesbuds because Cantonese food is not really palatable and it's too oily, salty and MSG laced.

Although it has improved, you still have to battle past the narrow pavement clutted with  zombies, smokers, random cars turning left or right and zombies pushing metal trolleys infront/behind you.
Anyway, made it here finally because I was in the area.

Te Momento is well known but it is just too much effort to venture in these industrial buildings.

Began with the green carbonara, the matcha flavouring improved it because it balances the creaminess and as a savoury dish, the taste was quite good.

Portion was a little small though.

For dessert, I had the tea flavoured gelatos: kungfu tea, puer and earl grey chocolate.

My favourite was the the puer because as a gelato the taste is more palatable because of the temperature and milk in it.

Finished with a Chinese tea with chenpi (orange peel) which gives it a bitter taste.

The food came fast and the prices are fair but the air-conditioning was too cold.
My grapefruit soda was impressive because it wasn't syrupy flavouring.
The pasta sauce was light so it felt healthy because it wasn't too salty.
The bolognaise sauce for the chips was weak and bland. Chips were good though with a good crispiness.
The platter was a bit boring for me because the items were a bit repetitive.

Went here with friends and I ended ordering this unexpectedly delicious slice of earl grey cake.
It was moist and had a strong aromatic flavour with a delish baileys icing
The apple tea lacked apple taste.
This cafe is evidently popular with young Hong Kong people who are currently under this so called 'hipster - munching' trend.

I had the task of choosing a birthday cake so this was the cake.

Originally I wanted to get this blackforest cake from Shatin but Shatin is too far to trek so ordered the cake from here because you can choose the appearance.

Communication was a little difficult so whatsapp is the best method.

I was given four cake flavours to choose and clearly Chocolate Cake with Sour Cherry Jam topped with Chocolate Cheese Frosting was going to be my choice.
Luckily the taste was good and not too sweet, the chocolate cake layer was a bit dense and dry but the chocolate cheese frosting is quite nice with cherries in the middle.

I didn't realize this was new as it was already packed with people.
Only found out when we finished as they apologised for the food being slow.
The menu was quite good with mini donburis where you get to choose two.

For the full sized don, I got the grilled salmon which was seared just right brushed with a delicious soy sauce.

Also had some sashimi and the salmon was sliced generously thick!!!!
The drinks mat on sashimi was weird though for presentation and it wasn't needed.
They recommended the salmon belly for better quality but I prefer the normal salmon as it is not so fat.

Overall, good food, hope they keep the standards because I want to return for the grilled salmon don.

Crumbs used to be famous for scones and froyo but now the shop is bigger with lots of other items such as pies and eclairs with an oven that you can use to reheat bakery items.

It is good that their pies are pale so it will be just right when you reheat them.There were so many goodies like spinach pie and Shepherds pie.

I decided to try the cheese and mustard twist, eclair and some donuts.

The only thing that let it down was the store assistant as she was not very friendly as if I disturbed her taking a break.

The iced donuts were strangely put upside down in the bag with the icing facing the bottom so it stuck to the bag.

I have seen their bakery at other stores so they probably get these from some supplier and rebake them or they supply these items to other bakeries.

The chocolate eclair was really good because it was not too sweet and the hazelnuts were really fragrant.The cheese and mustard twist was quite nice because the mustard gave it a salty twist.The scone was very disappointing because the texture was hard and crispy like an American biscuit.

Hokkaidon has been featured on most all the media because of this Donburi which overflows with salmon roe. On some nights they will be cutting a whole meguro.
That night, it was a big gathering so we had lots of dishes to share.

I absolutely loved this dish because it had my favourite avocado and tuna and the yolk makes it even more silkier.

A perfectly braised abalone with a balanced sweetness and the seasoning.

At first, I didn't know what was so special about this salmon but it is visually different because it does not have those white lines and the salmon taste is more intense.

Salmon Roe Don:

The salmon roe was the star of the show which I was waiting for the whole night.

On the last scoop of salmon roe, it will overflow from the bowl.

The size of the salmon roe was slightly smaller and darker than I had expected but the taste was really good because they were not as salty as the big ones.

If you want a mix of everything, then the Hokkai Don is a good choice.

Soy Milk Mochi with Brown Sugar:

For dessert, the soy milk mochi was delish because the texture was the same as Okinawan peanut tofu but with a strong soy bean taste.

My melon drink was fantastic as it was light and natrual with a strong melon taste.
