Back for the beancurd omelette

Went back for the eggless beancurd omelette because I was really craving for it.

The taste was so much better this time because it was not so oily.

The middle part of the omelette was so creamy and runny just like a real omelette while the outer part of the omelette was not so soft with a nice crisp texture to it.

Also had the Sichuan chicken which I forgot I ordered before. It was rather salty because of the sauce and I didn't expect it to be fried.

I couldn't resist the dimsum so had some fried dumplings, steamed buns and avocado rice rolls.
The steamed buns with vegetarian charsiu were delicious and there is also a crispy version which I will order next time.

After trying tempeh, went back for more.
The tempeh pieces are bigger with the rice but tasteless and not sour.
I couldn't eat the pickles because they were too spicy.
However the duck dish turned out great because they sell so much duck a day, it is guaranteed fresh.
The gravy was rich and tasty with generous pieces of chestnuts.

To be honest, trekked all the way to Tsuenwan because Inahachi has an area where you can fry your own tempura by covering it in batter and tempura crumbs.

The menu is simple, you select the set according to your meat preferences.

My favourite meat were the lamb because it was tender.

The chicken had a nice sesame flavour to it because it was marinated in sesame oil.

I was lured here by the noodles with shredded Sichuan chicken.
However, the annoying thing is that there is no price outside or on the leaflets because this is a special item.
It costs slightly more than the other noodles.
The taste was really good and I liked the noodles with chicken because you rarely get chicken served with these wonton style noodles.
Sichuan spices are a strong flavour but the alkaline taste was even stronger so you can imagine how strong the alkaline was.
A bit pricey for $56.

KT is a no go zone for me because it is just industrial and factory buildings.

It has slightly changed as there are some reputable buildings like AXA and AIA so the food scene has improved.

There are more Western restaurants to cater for expat tastesbuds because Cantonese food is not really palatable and it's too oily, salty and MSG laced.

Although it has improved, you still have to battle past the narrow pavement clutted with  zombies, smokers, random cars turning left or right and zombies pushing metal trolleys infront/behind you.
Anyway, made it here finally because I was in the area.

Te Momento is well known but it is just too much effort to venture in these industrial buildings.

Began with the green carbonara, the matcha flavouring improved it because it balances the creaminess and as a savoury dish, the taste was quite good.

Portion was a little small though.

For dessert, I had the tea flavoured gelatos: kungfu tea, puer and earl grey chocolate.

My favourite was the the puer because as a gelato the taste is more palatable because of the temperature and milk in it.

Finished with a Chinese tea with chenpi (orange peel) which gives it a bitter taste.

The food came fast and the prices are fair but the air-conditioning was too cold.
My grapefruit soda was impressive because it wasn't syrupy flavouring.
The pasta sauce was light so it felt healthy because it wasn't too salty.
The bolognaise sauce for the chips was weak and bland. Chips were good though with a good crispiness.
The platter was a bit boring for me because the items were a bit repetitive.

Went here with friends and I ended ordering this unexpectedly delicious slice of earl grey cake.
It was moist and had a strong aromatic flavour with a delish baileys icing
The apple tea lacked apple taste.
This cafe is evidently popular with young Hong Kong people who are currently under this so called 'hipster - munching' trend.
