This restaurant is located in Bartlock Centre which is a no go zone because the lifts take ages and the pavement from Time Square is so narrow that you have to walk on the busy road.
Anyway, I decided to risk it on this special occasion because you can dine under the fluffy clouds, eat the Planet Earth or even Mount Fuji which is billowing out with smoke.
Looking at the menu, I chose the planet earth and break the tear because of the ingredients.

The planet earth comes with a  candyfloss cloud above it where you spray syrup to make it melt on top of earth.
For what reason, I don't know!!
Anyway, inside the earth was this lovely light Jasmine mousse and pieces of cake.
The other dessert we had was 'break the tear' which was edible sugar glass with delicious gorgonzola mousse and cucumber sorbet.
There is a new version with green tea inside but I preferred the cheese.
You basically break the tear and eat the fragments with the dessert.

Finished with the tea which comes in a cute lolli strainer.

Went here because they had this pork liver bun with spring onions and ginger.
If only the pork liver was as good as the one in SSP then it would have been heaven.
It would probably taste better if they use spring onion oil from Chinese roasts instead of grilled spring onions.
Anyway, the pork chop was so big that you really needed a knife and fork although you can tackle it like a canine!!!!!!!!!!!!
It also annoyed me that the tasty pork chop was served in soup as it softened the the crispy surface.
Definitely a big bowl but the liver broth was weak.

Went here for my usual comfort food.
This time I had a sausage and onion sandwich.
It was toasted nicely and the sausages were perfectly grilled with a crispy outer skin and a soft centre.
The onions were sweet but they could have been grilled for longer as they were not caramelized or brown.

This joint serves Middle-Eastern & Indian food so they have kebabs and curries.
It reminds me of Ebeneezers but the prices are slightly friendlier.
Anyway, had the kebab which was really spicy.
The paneer makhani was delish because the tomato and butter gravy sauce was extemely appetizing with the long grain Basmati rice.

I rarely dine here because I just don't eat this stuff.Anyway, I was lured here by the heavily promoted Anise noodles.What made me look twice were these brown noodles with specks in it on the poster displayed at the MTR station.Looking at the further details, they appear to be anise noodles so I decided to try it.Luckily, these noodles were only $37 so it doesn't break the bank to try them.
The noodles were quite palatable with a mild anise taste and no unpleasant alkaline.However I found it rather salty and after I finished, my mouth felt like it had been rinsed with beef oil.

Just a year ago, this shop caused a stir and there were tons of people queueing to try it out.

Obviously I didn't.

This year, they have launched some Jagabee potato sticks that are only sold in Hong Kong.
I was really lucky because my friend managed to get a pack as her friend went to Calbee to get them.
Basically they are crunchy potato sticks and I would describe the taste as sweet, buttery and spicy.
As a potato fan, I like any potato related snacks so I really liked it.

Went here because the food is not expensive but the environment is too noisy.
Anyway, had a meat platter and beef stew to share.
The beef stew was really good with a rich alcoholic taste, there were lots of beef in it however some of the pieces were soft and some were brisky.
It was good that it was accompanied with bread sticks so you can dip the delicious sauce but these bread sticks were literally crispy hard sticks!The platter was good for sharing but the meats were tough and dry.
The sweetcorn tasted awful because the butter had this rancid odour.


Overall, affordable but don't expect too much.
