There were some photogenic food so came here for it.Started with the jellyfish which was chunky infused with refreshing vinegar.

The Chinese pear soup was fun pouring it from the teapot.
The mains could have been better because the oil tasted a bit old so ruined most of the dishes.
The fried rice was quite nice because of the gingery taste and pieces of fish in it, again the oil taste was overwhelming.
The mice are probably a first in Hong Kong!!
The inside is savoury while the outside was a bit too sweet for my liking.
I think sheep might be more appetizing.
Now to the dessert which was the highlight of dinner.
The mahjong pieces were coconut pudding and they failed to break when they fell on the table because it slipped from my spoon.
The notes were made from rice paper.

I only came here because they had a page of dishes for vegetarians.
It was brilliant because there were so many dishes to choose from as well as vegetarian desserts.

Started with the Kale 2.0:
On the menu, there are three to choose from 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 which is how strong you want the Kale to be.
I chose 2.0 which is in between and it was not to grassy and pleasant to drink

Kale jeon:
The kale jeon was pretty good because it was not too oily and it was crispy on the edges with a strong leafy green taste balanced by the sweet goji berries.

Vegetarian chicken in ginseng soup:
To be honest, I didn't like it because it was sweet like a dessert.

Vegetarian beef bibimbap with rice:
Probably the best bibimbap I have tried because it was satisfying and filling with a great taste because of the sesame sauce and the vegetarian beef tastes so much nicer than beef.

Kid's meal:
This is a good set to sample the rice and cheese dip with a drink included.

fries with sweet potato and cheese sauce:
The fries were came with a cheesy honey sauce which jazzed up the fries.

lychee popcorn shake:
The staff will mix it for you but I was really lucky to mix it myself because I could mix it according to my preference so I loved it.
I only put a drop of vodka so the popcorn flavour was strong as they give you popcorn syrup which is the key to the flavour.

interesting korean style hainan chicken:
I didn't order this but I like the way it looks like Korean Hainan style chicken with a ginseng on top.

Another great drink from Starbucks. It has Coconut jelly made with coconut bits at the bottom topped with chilled coconut water. Pina Colada juice blended with ice is then poured on top giving it that floating island effect.
It was a brilliant drink because it is non alcoholic and doesn't contain coconut milk.
The sweetness was just right for me because there is no extra syrup as the sweetness comes from the coconut jelly and the slush on top is just juice blended with ice.

I forgot I tried this place ages ago but went here again with some Japanese friends as they said it was their regular place for drinks.
At Sowelu, there are two floors, the top floor is the bar area and the lower floor is an out door area.
The staff speak Japanese and the menu is in Japanese.
From the regular menu, I ordered a cheese board which had a delicious mix of quality cheeses.
The cheddar and soft cheeses were the best.
The sausage platter was good with drinks.
The best thing was the chicken broth ramen which isn't on the regular menu.
It was listed on the Japanese menu if you can read Japanese.
The chicken broth was really thick, almost like grounded chicken puree in broth form.
I am no ramen critic but I really loved it.
The Kirin Frozen beer was also fantastic because there are so many flavours!~!!
Tomato, cucumber, coconut, grapefruit, rose etc.
It is just the perfect beer on a hot day with that frozen icy slush on top.
My favourite was the grapefruit, tomato and coconut.

This place is famous for lobster but I wanted to try the ochazuke because you can't get it at the MK branch.
It was sold out so I got the lobster roll instead which turned out to be really good so I was glad the thing I wanted was sold out.
I liked it because the lobster tastes fresh, soft and springy without a weird briny saltiness.
The sauces were good and not too overpowering.
The salad was really refreshing because I liked the acidic dressing however the so called oranges on the menu and receipt were mandarins.
Also had the steamed egg which was silky and smooth topped with lobster.
Finished with tea.
It was really good you get to smell the samples so you can choose the one you like.

I love Sichuan food so I have tried quite a few restaurants in this chain.
It can get quite confusing because the Chinese name of the restaurants all start with 12 flavours...... In English, it is slightly better because they have different names, eg Andy's chili party, Emma's... and Clinton's ......
Went here for lunch so had a lunch set and some other items.
The fish in chili oil was delicious because I just love that numbing fragrant Sichuan pepper taste yet it is not spicy.
The fish was a bit too silky because it kept falling from my chopsticks and breaking into smaller pieces when it fell on the plate, so it was too silky to eat.
Anyway, when I managed to get it in my mouth, the fish was divine.
The chicken with lime and Sichuan peppercorns was presented like a Thai Salad but again it was refreshing with a Sichuan taste to it because of the spices.
For snacks, I had the grilled chicken claws and wings.
Finished with the fried milk which was amazing because it was perfectly fried in fresh oil with creamy milk pudding in the middle that was not too sweet. There is condensed milk given but I didn't need it.

After trying this traditional layered cake at LinHeungLau, I decided to come here and try it here as well.
Tried the crispy and steamed prawn dumplings. The steamed version was actually pretty good because the prawn was springy and sweet.
The crispy version and the fried items at this restaurant did not fare so well because the oil was a bit old hence all ther fried items had a rancid taste.
The steamed custard buns were quite good with a runny filling that was not too sweet.
The layer cake could have been better because I couldn't taste any of the dessicated coconut and there was too much egg yolk which made it too rich. There was also pork lard in it which ruined it.
The fried pumpkin and taro cake was really good especially the mushy pumpkin, however it was way too salty.
The egg tarts were good but again the pork lard ruined it.
