To get decent boat noodles in Hong Kong, you have to trek into Kowloon City where most of the Thai joints are, but saying that the food can be disappointing because quite a lot of it is localized.
There is new joint in TST for boat noodles helmed by a Thai Chef and the menu and noodles are amazing.
The menu is simple and offers boat noodles, Yen to fa in soup or soupless and Tomyumkung in soup or soupless with a choice of the usual rice noodles, Cambodian noodles, flat rice noodles etc.
Price wise, it is slightly pricier than Kowloon City but the quality is way better but not the priciest compared to Sxxxxx in WC.
I tried the Yen to fa and boat noodles.

Strangely not many Thai places serve Yentofa but it basically contains my favourite fermented red beancurd and chili in the broth.
The soup was tangy and had a strong red beancurd taste followed by a slight chili kick.
Rice vermicelli is the best noodle for this because it absorbs the soup.
It is topped with meatballs, fishballs, fishball slices which were surprisingly delicious and there is also a fish skin dumpling included as well.

Had the beef boat noodle and the broth was strong in colour but the I wish the taste could be a little bit stronger.
It was topped with tasty beef and fragrant basil leaves.

For snacks had the chicken skin and chicken drumettes.

The chicken skin was a delicious guilty moreish snack because it was so crispy yet not oily.

Normally I choose the dishes when I come here but my friend chose them this time and discovered a naan that was so delicious!!!!!!
Basically it was the green onion naan which I thought was just naan with green onions!!

When it came, it looked like a naan with green onions but when you eat it, the taste will take you by surprise because it was so fragrant and addictive.
It tastes like naan with the Chinese spring onion and ginger puree that is paired with chicken.



Also had the Baigan bharta and chicken curry, both were quite spicy.



The broccoli was stir fried with garlic so you can imagine the taste.

Also had the Salmon Tandoori which was a surprise, it was a huge chunky fish.

At the beginning of this year, I was bored so went to MK and discovered Mr.Greek so decided to go the next day but shockingly when I got there it was closed
Anyway, it was odd that it was in MK anyway.

Mr Greek is from Canada and they serve Greek food as well as POUTINE.
Again, I discovered this shop by luck because I was trying restaurants nearby.


There were not many people as they have only been open for two weeks.

Started with spanakopita which was flaky filled with spinach and cheese.
It was flaky and stuffed with lots of spinach, a great appetizer if you like light snacks.

Also had the moussaka which was piping hot loaded with minced lamb and layers of potatoes and aubergines.
Tasted similar to British shepherds pie but the lamb was very strong.

There was something special about this joint because the decor was just white tiles and the cutlery was plain and simple like Muji.
Had two sets, the seafood don was really good but pricey.
The tuna and scallops were fresh along with a good assortment of sashimi.
All sets came with salad and soup and the salad was refreshing because the dressing was tangy and the salad leaves were crisp.
Also had the chicken and egg but compared to the sashimi don, it wasn't as fancy.

Finally passed by when the LuiSangChun building was open.
Tried to apply for the tour but it was cancelled.
Anyway, decided to get the tea for fun which was unsweetened but not too bitter.
There were four different teas so it depends on how you feel but the lady there should be experienced enough to identify your symptoms and serve you the appropriate tea.

I was walking to Yau Ma Tei in the sweltering heat when I noticed this bright blue shop so took a look.
It was out of place but stood out because of the bold design and fonts.
The name of the joint cooled me down a bit.
When I got nearer, I realized it was a sandwich joint and they had some homemade icecreams.
As it was stifling hot, I decided to get the avocado icecream since it was a rare flavour.
It was a bit icy but perfect on a hot day with a nice avocado flavour and real bits of avocado it it.

After dining at Hummus TLV, I discovered this shop and some other good eateries.
Went here because of the smoothie and burgers.
It was a horrible hot day so had the spinach and banana smoothie to cool myself down.
I liked the way you could taste the spinach and it was not fully blended so there were bits of spinach in it.

For starters had the cheese platter and olives.
The cheese selection was actually quite good and all of them tasted decent.

For mains, had the Okinawan taco rice and wagyu burger with egg.
The rice was very flavourful because there was a spicy tangy tomato sauce and the minced beef was good.


The burger totally surprised me because the egg was really creamy and tender as it was omelette style while the beef was juicy.
